Great hair cut and loved the attention to detail when explaining use of products in related to my hair type. Will be coming back!

It was my first time at Toni & Guy in Colchester having newly moved to the area. I'm mixed race and my hair texture tends to scare a lot of hairdressers! But India and Danny both knew what they were doing and I knew I was in good hands immediately. The service was professional and friendly, I felt completely at ease. It was the best keratin treatment I've had. Danny was extremely thorough & made sure every strand of hair was straight. I'll definitely be back :)

Its been a long time..3 year exactly since I had my hair cut and restyled. I was nervous entering a new salon but Sam made me feel welcome straight away. You can see he really takes an interest in his clients and he even taught me how to finally take the time to curl my own hair and how to make myself have a bit of volume and umpf. He never forced any product selling down my throat which made me even more inclined to buying the products he was using on my hair. Thank you for your time today Sam you made me feel like I was the only one in the room and I just love how my hair looks but most of all how I feel. Will be coming back again as this feeling is too good to last. #hairgoals ❤

Despite having short hair, I’m very particular with how it’s cut especially with a new stylist. However, Agnes listened at every point to what I asked for and delivered impeccably. She was polite and professional. Shame she’s going on maternity leave but I will def request her on her return!

As always, Rob did a wonderful job. Transformed my hair from straggling mop to a sleek Bob. Rob is truly a hair artist

I was extremely impressed with my experience. Coat hung up,coffee and mags brought. Rob really listened to what I wanted and achieved a result that I was delighted with. I had many compliments from friends.
Everything in the busy salon seemed to be professional and well managed and run. And, it was a really good experience. I will have no hesitation in visiting the salon and asking for Rob again next time my hair needs attention.

Wow, I had not had my hair coloured for 12 weeks. Due to the lakeside salon closing over night!! I decided that already travelling to colchester for my cut I would seek advice for some one to do my colour. I’m so glad I went with this advice, she was just so good. Got the colour match talked me through every step of what she was doing treated me with respect and dignity never pushed any thing I didn’t
want. Always checked I was ok, a real gem for the salon. I have booked again and found my new ladies for colour

I thought the stylist's name was Jamie. She was very friendly and cut my hair exactly how I wanted it.

India is a star! She is always able to understand exactly what I’m after and I always leave the salon feeling a million dollars! She is speedy and careful. Always enjoy the chats too - like catching up with an old friend! Thank you x

I’ve seen Danny twice now and he always listens and gives me exactly what I ask for (which changes each visit). My hair is over processed and Danny has made it look shiny and healthy and I’m still a lovely blonde colour. Couldn’t be happier!

The boy who washed my hair was lovely, Agnes was so friendly and I love that she gave me exactly what I asked for. I also really liked the way my hair was styled when I left.

However, I feel like charging upwards of £49 for a trim (with wash and style) is a a bit steep. If I had asked for a restyle or a cut, I would find the price reasonable. I went because I felt like treating myself yesterday but I wouldn’t make the salon my regular for the cost.

That’s not to say the entire salon is overpriced. My mum had corrective colouring done and she looked amazing and it was 100% worth the money she paid.

Best restyle I have ever had, he’s a very clever chap to cut hair so skilfully and blow dry it with such volume and so silky smooth. I felt a million dollars walking out onto the High street!

Rob was great to talk to and made both my partner and I feel very welcome at the salon.
