Amy is amazing! The highlights were exactly what I was looking for and all the staff were incredibly welcoming and professional. The salon is clean and all the staff are consistently wearing PPE. Thank you Amy, I love my hair!

Fabulous cut and style. Excellent salon facilities and PPE. Matthew is a natural. He is second to none with cutting and indeed all hair flair. Super personality. Would recommend anyone to go, you won't be disappointed!

After 5 months of growth & lockdown, hair needed attention. Amy to the rescue! Starting with a wash and wonderful head massage and finishing with a balanced stylish cut and salon blow dry, I wafted out the door feeling good and lighter - thank you!

I was made welcome. I enjoyed the thorough hair wash and condition. Matthew then cut my hair to my required length. He and Paige dried it for me. Both very polite and professional. I enjoyed the experience.

Had a recent appointment for a cut & finish, I was immediately greeted as I walked in and felt at ease. All staff had PPE on and cleaned the work station before I sat down. I showed them a picture of how I wanted my hair and he knew exactly how to achieve it, Very friendly staff and I’m very pleased with my new hair. Would definitely recommend ?

What a totally different experience... had a bad hair colour before I went here... amy was very friendly, professional and attentive... and corrected my colour beautifully... definitely will be returning... would recommend to anyone... had my confidence restored...

Paige has transformed my lockdown locks into a brilliant hairstyle in under an hour.
It’s my second appointment with Paige and I’ve found a stylist who understands exactly what I want.
I love my hair now and can’t recommend her more highly.
The salon is a beautiful relaxing environment and so safe post lockdown.

Well back to salon after I think 4 months n all I can say is wow... Matthew managed to lift the box dye I'd done myself n coloured my hair exactly how I wanted... I couldn't be happier

My pixie has grown into a short bob which I quite like. Amy sharpened up the angle and trimmed the back in to my neck and gave me brilliant advice about the fringe. Lovely salon with friendly staff. Already booked my next appointment!

Matthew is great at what he does! I always leave feeling extremely happy with how he has done my hair. He always listens to what I want, gives advice and then makes it happen!

The rest of the staff in the salon are great and it’s overall a friendly atmosphere.
I also love the products Matthew uses on my hair and he always points me in the right direction when there’s a certain thing I am looking for. I love getting my hair done here! ❤️

Another excellent service from Amy who always does a wonderful job everytime she looks after my hair. I decided to go a bit shorter today and she knew how a big thing it was for me and she cut just the right length off and I left the place feeling happy and refreshed! Thanks Amy x

Spare Saturday morning so booked and paid online for an appointment half an hour later. Perfect for busy people who find it difficult to be able to plan ahead. The salon is very stylish and comfortable.
Paige discussed with me what I wanted and then Sophie washed my hair and it was so relaxing.
The cut and blow dry exceeded my expectations I am so pleased with my new style.
I intend to return next month for a hair colour.
I can not recommend M A hairdressing more highly.

This is the best Salon in Hull in my opinion. Ask for Matthew to do your hair. He’s an exceptionally talented young man. It will be the best decision you have ever made. I’m over the moon with my results.
The salon itself is really great. Very restful and a wonderful place to come and be pampered. Staff friendly, efficient and courteous. I would not go anywhere else.
