Classy salon with relaxed but vibrant atmosphere. Andrew is an experienced and talented hairdresser, the coffee is also very good.

Just moved into the area and had to find a new hairdresser and was dreading it. Saks came to the rescue with Jess. Really pleased with colour, cut and service. So my worries are over. Slightly more pricey than the south which did surprise me but overall fab.

My colour had gone wrong and Jess fitted me in at short notice. She was excellent and checked my colour constantly. She was friendly understanding and professionsl

We took our 2yr old after a bad experience elsewhere and we wouldn’t go anywhere but Ellie now! Zara is so comfortable with Ellie, goes off by herself and loves every minute of being pampered! Highly recommend SAKS and Ellie ?

Really great service at Saks Hair. I’m delighted with my new colour and cut. Also got some luxury hair care products to help boost my hair condition. Think that any extra costs should be flagged up at the time it’s offered, eg hair treatments or toners etc. Lovely salon with very friendly staff. Will definitely go back.

Not been coming to Saks long, recommend and happy with the way Ellie and rest of staff look after me. Only little negative I have felt cold, but all clients require different temperature in a salon, guess it’s hard to reach a happy temperature for all.???‍♀️?

Andy at Barnard Castle Saks always takes time to listen to my comments about my hair, what aspects I want to keep what changes I would like to make. We are a team he gives his professional opinion he listens to my ideas, we have a mutually respectful relationship. Also the time I have at Saks is truly "me time"

Always a pleasure to come relax & have my hairdresser do my hair exactly how I want it - never disappointed! All the staff are so friendly! Prices & more deals should be offered though. £51.00 for a wash/toner/dry is quite expensive.
