KH Hair Salon Long Eaton, Derbyshire

Had a lovely appointment today, had little sleep, and was sitting down for a few hours being pampered by lovely people. Audrey greets and always warm and welcoming. Tamzin took me through and then Carly joined me. We chatted about colour openly talking back and forth and Carly always arrives at the right thing to do. Then Jasmine brought drinks and mags, before washing. Over to Adam for the precision cut of a lifetime, conversation to put the entire World back on its axis, blow dry, style and finish. Each of them played a role in a very satisfying, successful Appointment, and look forward to repeating the process in 4 weeks time. Excellent.

It was my first time at KH and what a wonderful experience it was. I saw Jasmine although I thought she said her name was Tamsin. She was very easy to chat to and she seemed to know exactly what I wanted even though I didn't haha. I was made to feel really comfortable and to top it off I was over the moon with my hair. I arranged my appointment online which was very easy to do. Booked for my long bob to be taken shorter just below my chin, Megan has cut the perfect precision bob cut and I’m super happy with it. Very friendly service and atmosphere.

2nd time seeing Megan. Did a full consultation and listened to my needs and preferences. As with last time she did my hair, result was AMAZING. Love the colour, has serious lasting power on the product too and she and the staff are always fully attentive

Last Wednesday Alice got the short straw!😊 and this time I had highlights put in as well as a wash and blow dry. Alison patiently made sure all the highlights are even all over and subtly blend in and after a good wash, with a welcome head massage, was ready for a blow dry and tongs to style that resulted in a lovely finish. Also Niamh was very caring in washing off the toner and brought me a welcome cup of KH’s coffee and biscuits which are delicious. Audrey always gives you a nice welcome and everyone in the salon is also very friendly. As usual, all in all, a very professional and enjoyable experience.

Megan was extremely helpful in explaining how we got the colour of the balayage and I enjoyed the atmosphere of the salon. This was my first time at KH salon and I rebooked for my next appointment straight away.

As usual, never a hair cut! An experience of the utmost pleasure! The lady who washed my hair was amazing, and Carly as usual, made me feel special and left me feeling a million dollars Audrey sorted me with products I asked for too, not a salon, after many years its turning into a bit of a family xxx

I feel laughed at when I visit this salon. The stylist isn't really interested in helping me achieve my usual curly finish. Stating, you prefer to diffuse yourself and quickly wanting to go off.. However, she did help with the back for a couple of minutes. I was left embarrassed in the middle of the salon drying my own hair. On my first visit I discussed my experience with curl salons. This always gets a good result so I opted to dry my own hair with the help of a very supportive salon owner. I found my first visit ok other than being laughed at for drying my hair upside down as advised by curl salons. The apprentice that washes my hair is not at all interested and moans. Great salon for a colour and trim. Unfortunately, for me I felt very uncomfortable in the environment and there was a clear disinterest from the stylist that did my hair. I feel the approach to different styles is outdated.

Megan did a great job of a cut and blow dry of an outgrown bob style. She did an initial consultation to see what I required and throughout the appointment. Lovely result and great relaxed experience .
