I had the most amazing experience at this salon with the talented stylist, Gemma. She made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived, really took the time to understand what I wanted, and the results were even better than I imagined. I couldn’t recommend her or the salon highly enough!

A lovely welcome when I dropped in without an arranged appointment. The young lady who greeted me was very helpful, polite she was able to help me with an irradiate appointment with Emma. I appreciate sometimes this cannot be accommodated in busy times. Emma was just as helpful and a wonderful manner. I was so pleased with my experience at the salon. I was very happy with what Emma did with my hair. I will definitely be going back and feel I’ve found my future hair stylist. Thankyou so much for fitting me in, see you very soon.

Gemma always does an amazing job

Gemma is amazing. She is genuinely the kindest woman, she is much more than an amazing hairdresser, she lifts you up and makes you feel your best! She also has the patience of a saint when my children have their hair cut.

l always say l will leave it with you after Gemma has asked me what are we doing today in the consultation , which makes her laugh . But this is how confident and relaxed l feel with Gemma . Lovely atmosphere and wonderful salon . Never disappointed.

Gemma was amazing so attentive. I asked her for her opinion and she asked me some questions whilst we came to a decision on what to do. She talked me through the different options and checked my opinion everytime. She has a great attention to detail and came out with my hair exactly how we discussed and how I wanted it. Always a lovely experience at the salon, lovely atmosphere, fantastic hair and Gemma is lovely and so talented.

Started coming to the salon to see Gemma as I’d heard great reviews for her doing wedding hair. Started coming a year in advance so we can build up the cut/colour and then work on what style to go for for the big day!

I had my usual full head colour and cut with Chelsea today and as always she did an amazing job. I left the salon feeling wonderful. I felt so relaxed in the salon during my app. I always get so many compliments on my hair and I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I entered with trepidation as my hair had grown out of proportion to my original style. I showed Terri a photo of my original cut and she managed to cut to the style I had originally. I was very pleased.

Terri has been doing my hair since 2021 and has never failed to amaze me! She always makes me feel so welcome and leaves my hair looking so gorgeous and exactly how I want it to look every time I leave the salon! F&F is a beautiful salon with such a lovely atmosphere, I can’t wait to go back and get my hair touched up again!

After recently moving to Chesterfield, i have been looking for a hairdresser close by. I found feather and fern, i popped in and spoke to reception and they managed to fit me in as a walk in. My hairdresser was Emma she was fantastic today, she was very patient with me as i'm very picky, being a hairdresser myself. I went through what hairstyle i wanted and explained to her how my previous hairdresser did my hair, through our conversation my hair turned out well, im ver happy with the finished result

Never been to the Feather and Fern to have my hair done before but the salon has a nice relaxed atmosphere, and I was made to feel very welcome on arrival. Staff are genuinely very friendly. Exceptionally happy with the service received and with what was done to my hair. Will be going there again.

What can I say about Chelsea, such a genuinely warm and friendly girl. Really enjoyed my visit and she does the best head massage . Asking what I wanted and if i was happy with everything she had done. Have already booked in again with her again.

Feather and fern is an upper class, glamorous Salon. My hair was cut and coloured by Sara. I really enjoyed my visit I would highly recommend.

This was my first time at this salon so was a bit nervous. Gemma and the other staff made me feel really welcome. My hair looked and felt 100% better. Thank you Gemma.

Terri was absolutely amazing today. This was the first time in 25 years that I’ve had a hair cut to suit the texture of my hair. Terri was so patient and informative about everything she was doing to my hair. Even spoke to me about the potential for my hair in the future. Really love today’s cut and it’s only the beginning. Will definitely be coming back xxx
