It’s always a pleasure to come to The Salon for a cut. The ambience is relaxing and staff friendly. Tony always does a fabulous cut and I always get great compliments about my cut. I would highly recommend to all.

I saw a sign outside the salon asking for hair models and ended up having an appointment with Phoebe. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her and The Salon. While she may only be training she was lovely, professional already and listened to me before we agreed on a style. Tony watched her work every now and then and gave her positive, constructive feedback throughout my appointment. I walked in feeling like rubbish as my hair was a mess and I left feeling amazing. I will certainly be back for my next appointment soon.

Jade is excellent. There are very few people who can handle my hair and I always feel great after Jade does my hair. Thank you Jade.

Wonderful colour and cut as always, staff are friendly and Marie is so talented she has transformed me and I always feel wonderful when I leave the salon.

Just moved to the area. Booked in with Hollie, she was fabulous. Listened to everything I said and the result was sensational. Loved the colour and cut.

I had used The Salon in the past some 8yrs ago I stopped going as I thought it was expensive.. I have tried so many places now including Kendal and even a place in Essex where I lived for a while xx for the past two years I have been searching again to have a hairdresser that I could be happy with.. I have found her xx HOLLY xx I am back at the salon. I am very happy HOLLY is doing that x with her smart cutting and care I trust her xx and thank you HOLLY. As for all the other colleagues I have met hair
washing and treatment etc are truly exeptional . It's money well spent xxx

Excellent service

As always we were welcomed and offered a comfortable seat and warm drink.
Shampoo was with Phoebe who is a real treasure, and does a great job.
Over to Jade then for the styling. We always talk about what styling we want to have done and know that she will do the job expertly and the results will be just what we wanted.

I absolutely love getting my hair done by Marie.. she is so professional and extremely knowledgable. It’s a 5 star service :) all the staff are friendly, warm and welcoming!

I visited the salon today and it was a lovely experience from start to finish. Beautiful clean salon where the staff clearly take a lot of pride in where they work. The atmosphere was lovely and quite relaying. My hair is a lovely colour and I just love the cut. Thank you so much I will return again.

Just dropped by on the off chance there was an appointment, which they fitted me in. Salon is very nice, clean, staff very friendly and Elle did a wonderful job of my very unruly long hair! Would definitely book again ????

My brief was a wash and go hairstyle as I don't always have access to a hairdryer or even electricity. I also like contemporary styling. Tony interpreted my wishes perfectly. Since the cut a few weeks ago I have not needed a hairdryer, the style takes care of itself. With a bit of brushing and product I can glam the style up for an evening out, still no hairdryer needed.

All the staff at the salon are lovely and visiting is always a relaxing experience. Jade is a fabulous hairdresser and has been colouring and styling my hair for nearly 4 years - she is so talented and always does a brilliant job. Super recommended! :)

It's not a hair cut, it's an experience. From the moment you enter The Salon, you are met by courtesy, friendly warm welcoming staff.
A brilliant warm cup of coffee and biscuit! The hair wash is so relaxing, the head massage you get is out of this world. The styling is something else, you are made to feel special. Great experience.

I’ve been coming to the Salon for over 15 years. The service is always great and I love the fact that Marie always listens and gives honest advice about styles that suit your hair type. Despite knowing her craft really well, Marie still goes on training courses, so uses up to date techniques and products, this is really apparent in her work. I always love my hair after she has done it.

I wanted to inform you of how different my experience of The Salon has become since Wendy has been part of the team on a Saturday. The atmosphere has become more relaxed and calm under her influence. If she is at reception when you arrive, you are made to feel comfortable and welcome from the moment you enter. She has definitely had an impact on my visits, as due to being extremely head sore I have always come to dred the backwash experience, that most enjoy! Not so for my last two visits, as Wendy has transformed this aspect after 20 years! Please can you pass on my thanks and comments to Wendy. I would also like to request, where possible, for Wendy to look after me at the backwash in future, as it would stop me worrying before future appointments?! Also thank you to Tony for my special treat today! It was lovely to have a surprise, and leave with glamorous curls today, my boys actually noticed! ????

Very friendly place. Had a cut and blow dry with Holly who was great and gave me a good cut - exactly what I wanted. Will def be back.

The Salon is really nice inside and the service was very professional and friendly. I love my cut and my stylist asked how I would like my hair finished as opposed to just straightening it, which lots of stylists do automatically. Also a very reasonable price for the service. I will use The Salon again.

I attended today for a cut and blow dry with Ellena. The service was excellent, I was offered a choice of drink straight away & it came with a homemade Christmas biscuit - lovely touch. Ellena is friendly & attentive, she always cuts my hair well.
