I had my hair dyed at inkfish 2 weeks ago. I has brown hair with blonde ombre ends and I asked for a full head of highlights to gradually go blonde again. I've had my hair blonde from dark many times before and I'm aware it is not possible to go light blonde in 1 go. The 'senior' stylist advised me highlights would look cheap and that she recommended doing it a different way. I was very unsure, but after she showed me a picture in a magazine, the colour looked nice and natural so I agreed to trust her. The next thing I knew she stripped my hair (never had this done before highlights in the past).The colour turned our bright orange. Following this she painted the blonde colour on in big chunks and onto my scalp. The outcome of this was an all over brassy orange/dark blonde. I could have achieved better doing it myself from a box dye! I told her I didn't like it and she was very off and said she would quickly put through some highlights on the top. The outcome was still brassy and ginger

Sorry not my best visit. The colourok but I did felt the person cutting my hair not giving me 100% seemed a bit distracted with other clients and I came out with a shorter version of what I came in with.

The service and attention was second to none the cut was really fantastic and the stylist Rachel and the young man who washed my hair were amazing. I am so pleased .Thank you guys !

I was happy with haircut but gutted that the charge was £44 and I was not advised that of I spent another £6, the deal as advertised on pirate/website would cost £25! I am a loyal customer so am really disappointed. The normal stylists costing £34/37 we're not available and I was not told Rachel would be so much more expensive!

I'm so pleased with the result! All the staff were so friendly and helpful. They really listen to what you are wanting and really try their best to achieve your desired look no matter how challenging!

I had my hair cut and some beauty services this week. The beauty services were excellent, relaxing and calm atmosphere and I was made comfortable..
My hair service I was more disappointed in. For the price I was paying I expected more, as I was not spoken to at all during the cut and no products (including no use of heat protectants) were used other than a little bit of shine spray at the end. My hair felt less smooth walking out as it did walking in and I wasn't offered to have my hair straightened like it was when I walked in. I might return for beauty treatments in the future, but I think there are much nicer places to get your hair cut for less money.

This was my first visit to Inkfish and it will not be my last. I had a lovely time and the staff made me welcome and special. I enjoyed every minute I was there and am overjoyed with my new hair cut and colour. I cannot wait to go back!

Really lovelly afternoon - treatment was great and cut was just right.

I've been seeing Alexa at Inkfish for around 2 years, and she is simply the best hairdresser I've ever had. She listens, and yet gives good advice when needed. I've recommended her to friends who are now also regular customers!

Had full head foils, toner and blowdry and could not fault it. Alexa was brilliant, great advice, great colour, brilliant blowdry, made my thin flat hair look voluminous..all this with the benefit of great chat rather than small talk!

Inkfish is the best hairdressers in Truro proved by the point that I have been with them for 18 years. It is a personal service however busy they are.

I am always happy with my hair and I visit the salon at least 4-6 times a year having a cut, foils and colour. After returning from my appointment today, I noticed in the west Briton, a £25 voucher off. I phoned the salon to explain that I had just spent £107 but was told I did not have the voucher, there was nothing that could be done. As a loyal customer, also buying products on occasions, I feel disappointed with the salons response. Maybe if your advertising discounts, you should advice your loyal customers of your promotions. Good customer service/relations is very important in today's climate.

I had an appointment about a week ago with an Senior stylist, the cut was very nice and i had a lovely cup of coffee. However as I was looking around the salon all I seemed to notice was the older staff going out the door for cigerates and leaving the assistants to pick up after them which I thought was weird as they are meant to be learning not tidying up after the staff. I had a lovely hairwash by one of the assistants although she was very quiet and timid. Very clean salon and good service however I feel the older staff could help out allot more.

Staff are friendly and helpful, and it is always a relaxing experience.
Alexa who does my hair is great, I totally trust her with my hair, she always does a perfect job, whether it is a cut, blow dry or colour. I always get good advise from Alexa if I am looking to change my hair style or colour.

I booked an appointment at Ink Fish Truro partly because they were the only salon open late in town on a Thursday night. I was given a cut and restlye by someone who had never seen me before (I have fine, curly hair, quite possibly a cutters nightmare) and she did a brilliant job,taking initiative to create a new shape that compliments my face shape and my hair type. Brilliant job and will definitely be back. Thank you x

Ink fish was recommended to me so i check website for phone number and price list and was lucky to get an immediate appointment. I advised the stylist I always tie all my hair back so sides must be kept long to do this. Maybe she forgot my request as suddenly she cut off the hair I asked to be kept long so it falls right in my face and there's no way could I could tie it back now. She said it would look nice. It did look nice when she said but already its so annoying and i will have to use hair grips for weeks now which negates the 'nice' look look. Also, I was under impression I booked for senior stylist but was charged art director price for cut.

Great massage with Alice and great haircut for my son but he doesn't know who cut it!!! Thank you would reccommend the salon

I have been going to Inkfish for many years now and the service is always excellent. The staff are friendly, professional and caring. Vidette and I always manage to have a good laugh too!

Great gel manicure, walk in the rainforest pedicure and waxing treatments today. Sarah, my therapist, was utterly professional, friendly and knowledgeable. I'm really picky about how my nails are painted but love the result, they are flawless! I would highly recommend Inkfish beauty treatments.

I had long hair and wanted a restyle to a graduated bob . Lovely cut and was just what I wanted.

I've been using Inkfish for the last 12 years. Rachel, Lana, Verdet, Beth and everyone else make me feel part of the family and always make me feel brilliant when I leave. I'll never go anywhere where else, but always ask for the 'Treatment'.

Inkfish is a wonderful salon, I had Lana and she cut and blow-dried my hair beautifully and she is the only hairdresser who gets my fringe perfect everytime. Also the girl who washed my hair gave me a really nice head massage which is makes it such a treat!

First rate service with a smile. Couldn't be better.

Cut and blow dry - Tori

Having been to many barbers before my partner said I need to try a nice up to date salon. I was recommended to inkfish by some of my male friends. I had an appointment with a young stylist & she told me what style would suit me. She did a great job & my girlfriend was well happy too. On the plus side for me I also got a beer nice touch!

Iv been coming to this salon for over 10 years & have never left disappointed. The team make me feel amazing from start to finish, you get a fantastic service & both experiences in hair and beauty have been exactly what iv been asking for. Thumbs up from me ;)

I waited three weeks for a Saturday appointment then when I arrived I had to wait over half an hour for my stylist to see me. She matched my colour, put it on and left me with a 'junior' (who was very nice unlike anyone else) the poor gilt was running around working very hard getting me drinks, mags and then washing my hair, whilst cleaning after everyone else and doing the same for others. Mean while my stylist disappears upstairs, I see her go outside the front to smoke then I paid for her to do the work the junior was doing? I had a good cut and blowdry after but she didn't talk to me and seemed to rush it. As she was the management I am VERY disappointed in the service for the price I paid. I still tipped the junior 'late' though as I felt she really deserved it.

We go to Max because he gives you the time needed and seems to take great pride in his work.you don't feel like you are 'just' another customer but an individual. And he always does a great job.

This was my first time at Inkfish and have already booked to go back. The staff are very talented and professional as well as being welcoming and friendly. Lana really listened to what I wanted and then gave me something even better. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone. Considering the overall experience I thought it was very good value for money.

Vidette did my hair for me on the 11th October 2014 and I was very nervous about having it cut and restyled having not been to the salon before, but Vidette was fantastic and did a lovely cut. I was so pleased and the salon was really friendly and professional. I have already booked my next appointment and would recommend them to everyone.

I had a cut and blow dry with a girl called Beth on Saturday! I was really impressed how I got an appointment at such short notice. The service from my arrival was fantastic, I went away with a fantastic new hair and even booked into have more done to my hair next week. Highly recommended!!
