Not much else to say, Alexa knows exactly how to deal with my hair and makes excellent recommendations. Extremely happy with my cut and colour today.

I've lived in cities my whole adult life with access to top hair stylists. One of my big concerns when I moved to Cornwall was finding a great hair cutter. Vidette at Inkfish is fantastic! She's been cutting my hair for the 5 years I've lived here. I've changed my hair style a few times in those 5 years and I've never been disappointed with the cut. Inkfish is superb.

Hi! I went yesterday to change my colour hair for medium blonde and i'm very dissapointed as now my hair is nearly black! I didnt ask for that, and is the second time im not happy after treat my hair with you guys and you guys don't do anything and i paid a lot of money.

Have been going to inkfish for approx 9 months and just love it there. I introduced my daughter to the salon today for a restyle with Lana and she loved it too. I have previously been going to 5 star rated salons in Cardiff and infish Truro is better.

Receptionist was lovely and got me an appointment straight away
They took my coat and offered me a drink
I had my hair washed and it was lovely so relaxing and the head massage was fantastic
The hair dresser was so friendly and made me feel very welcome and relaxed
He did a wonderful job and took care over it all and made it look so lovely

Had my nails and eyebrows done with Amy today ..was very impressed ..wouldn't go anywhere else ...

I have been having my hair cut by Tori for a number of years now and am never disappointed. I am quite fussy about my hair and have tried other hairdressers but always come home regretting it.

Tori is professional, approachable and would never let me go ahead with a style that wouldn't suit me. I always recommend her to my friends.

Came in today at 10.00hrs and asked my stylist for her creative thoughts. I went with it and so pleased with the results. Inspired cutting! Thankyou x

Just moved to cornwall and was recommended here, the stylist I had was great as I was unsure what I really wanted except wanted to go lighter.
Afterwards the colour has come out great, cut was a lovely finish.
They are great too up your car park if needs be and always offering refreshements and very chatty a relaxed experience

Tori did a fantastic job fixing a bad colour job and cut. She was confident in what she was doing and listened to what I wanted. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend her. The salon was also lovely and very professional.

My cutter/colourist is great. Had a treatment too which is so relaxing. I only have one small niggle and that is the loud music in the main salon. It is very intrusive. Why don't you have a classical hour instead of the constant thump?

I have really thick hair and gave been struggling whilst growing it. Went in for a consultation & cut and dry with Lana & really thrilled with the results. She took time to style my hair in the best way to suit me & my laziness when it comes to styling! Will happily go back again & again!

I have now had 2 spray tans here at inkfish and they won't be my last, I love them. So natural and long lasting, the girl who does them is brilliant, she makes you feel relaxed and always so friendly. I recommend this salon to everyone, also Tammy gives amazing blow dry's!!!!

I have to say after visiting a few salons in Truro I felt completely comfortable here at inkfish. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a smile from a lovely receptionist and my hair cut was amazing, but mostly it was the friendly faces and attitudes of the team that made me feel great. I will definitely be returning :)

I had a cut and blow dry by Max today. As always I am amazed at what he can do with my hair and very happy with the results.

And I could never leave! Always so helpful and on trend! A lovely experience.

After 25 years of trying every hairdresser, all styles and colours, I have never felt so pleased everytime I leave Inkfish when Max has either cut my hair or given guidance to the trainee who is practising on me.
Inkfish is a very professional business with pleasant staff and in my opinion the best in Cornwall... Max should be on the tv he's fantastic !!!

I cannot recommend this salon highly enough for beauty treatments or hair styling!! Yes from the outside it is an uber trendy salon filled with tanned small sized staff which could be a bit intimidating!! Ignore that and go in!! They are the friendliest most helpful staff who make you feel welcome and relaxed, nothing is too much trouble and they are excellent at what they do!!

I have been coming to the salon for 15 yrs and in the main Tammy has been my hairdresser. She is a fantastic stylist with a great understanding of my hair requirements.

Tammy is great fun to have a chat with I look forward to the warm welcome I always recieve from her.

Equally, both beauticians are great company and there is always a nice welcome from the reception team when I walk in the door.

I am looking forward to bringing all my bridal party to the salon, on the morning of my wedding as I know that they will all be well looked after.

Tammy cut my hair for the first time yesterday. This is the best haircut I've had in as long as I can remember, I will certainly be back! Very friendly and efficient service too.

Every time I visit Inkfish I'm impressed. They listen to what you want and if it's possible, cut and colour it exactly as you asked. The service is very good, staff friendly and offer lovely coffee. Prices are reasonable for the service you receive and basins comfy for your neck. You also get a mini head massage when they wash your hair.

Me and my bridal party visited inkfish this week where we all had St Tropez bronzing tans for my wedding. There were 5 of us. We were made to feel very welcome by being given drinks on arrival. Alice did our tans today. She was so lovely explaining all we needed to do really putting our minds at ease. Nothing was too much trouble. The tans look fabulous. So even and so professional. I literally have an after holiday glow which was what I was after. Thank you so much to all the staff. Will be returning again soon!

It's always difficult understanding exactly what a teenager wants as they don't explain that well but my son is finally happy that he's found a stylist that has given him exactly what he wanted, he's very happy.

Had a wonderful haircut, staff were extremely friendly and inviting. I had Tammy who was brilliant and cut my hair exactly how I wanted it giving great advice on styling! Will definitely be coming back, best place to get your hair cut in the whole of Cornwall!!

...the decor is just right in a nutshell. Not so affected as to make you feel out-of-place. It's obvious the staff love their jobs here, and that's reflected in how you're treated. It honestly feels like an extended family, and despite the salon's considerable size, it retains an intimate and convivial atmosphere. My stylist is very young, great at what she does, and I don't even notice the hour or so it takes to style my very awkward hair (including washes before and after). That's what makes a salon superb - feeling like you're having an enjoyable chat with a good friend. Great job iNkfish. Oh...to my stylist - antidisestablishmentarialism! That's a silly word, right? :-)

I've not read other reviews yet...but I shall try to be concise, accurate, and give you some reasons for my assertion (the only one you need to bother with...I assure you).

This salon is quite simply the best out there - anywhere. I've had my hair cut/styled all over the UK and in numerous placed globally - especially America. This salon ticks every box:-

The staff are incredibly attentive, professional and knowledgeable. Chances are they will b (a) younger than you and (b) more attractive than you...but they won't make you feel that way. When you come to this place it's all about you...every time I've been I always walk out feeling $100,000,000...let alone $1,000,000.

As soon as you walk in, the trendy-yet-welcoming ambience is palpable, yet not oppressive, nor is it pretentious. You're instantly greeted by a member of staff - you feel valued...unlike many salons where they assume you're business is guaranteed.
