Thanks to Ed fab as ever and for the new style and for the heart on my cappuccino

I was a little scared to be trying somewhere new for my haircut, but was ready for a change. Ed couldn’t have been nicer, looking at my old haircut first and listening to my ideas of how I wanted it to look. He did an amazing job, and I left the salon delighted. Since then l received lots of compliments on my new hairstyle, and I have managed to get a great result when washing my hair myself at home. Thank you Inkfish, I shall return.

Fantastic service really friendly and totally transformed my hair ! The colour is the best I’ve had and the cut was nice and sharp on my short cut ! Made to feel very welcome with tea and coffee. I will be back as a regular now !!

Max did a great job as usual! Worth driving from Plymouth. He always asks me how I would like my hair blow dried whereas many stylists just straighten it as it’s easier. The blow dry still looks fabulous since Saturday (it’s now Tuesday) Thank you Max :)

I have been coming to Inkfish for 12 years now, both for my hair and beauty treatments and quite honestly I wouldn’t go anywhere else. It is always a pleasure to sit in the chair and be treated so well. They listen to your requirements, advising when needed, which I appreciate. It’s a truly professional salon who keep up-to-date with current treatments and products etc. Such a lovely mix of staff.

Sophie was amazing today, I had no idea what I wanted yet she managed to do exactly what I wanted! So pleased with my cut and colour :)

as always, a brilliant colour service! full head bleach and tone resulting in the white blonde shade I was after! Tori always does a great job with colour - wouldn’t trust anyone else!

Shoutout to Luke as well for washing off my bleach with cool water - made all the difference to the comfort level :D

I always have a great experience and leave feeling like it couldn’t have been better, my hair looks exactly how I hoped and more every time. Max seriously knows his stuff and gives his honest opinion of what will work and what won’t. Cut and colour are superb, I’m over the moon! The rest of the team are welcoming and accommodating with the friendliest, jovial atmosphere.

I was really grateful to Max who really brightened my day not just as the hairdresser who made me look beautiful but also to have a good chat. He’s such a welcoming and happy guy and he always makes me smile.

As usual I spent a very lovely couple of hours in the salon this afternoon. At the beginning of the appointment Alexa discussed everything thoroughly with me and I am delighted with the end result. I am always looked after so well and feel thoroughly relaxed throughout the process. After 29 years I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else! Thank you

Fabulous shampoo, cut and blow dry as slways. Five star all the way. Reception service however not great- ended up hanging up my own coat today whilst the receptionist chatted.

Such friendly service - always. The Inkfish staff are always so cheerful, new stylists are always exceptionally well-trained and Vidette knows exactly what I want and what my hair needs.
I'm always perfectly pleased with the result.

I don’t usually go to inkfish because to be honest I haven’t got a lot of surplus cash . But my lovely daughter gave me a voucher for Xmas .

A trip to Inkfish Truro always brightens my day and today was no exception despite the wind and the rain!! Good catch up time with Tori and my hair restored to correct colour and shape. A thoroughly relaxing and enjoyable experience.

Went to inkfish as I could not get an appointment with my usual hairdresser. Will be returning (as long as I can get the same stylist... Tammy I think? I’m terrible with names!) had lots of positive comments about my hair. Professional service from booking appointment to leaving the salon ... well done inkfish x

Jade was excellent. She totally ‘got’ what I was wanting and very cleverly and intuitively and extremely skillfully slightly modified a photo I brought to suit my face etc. Great fun and Jade is genius! Thank you

First time having a wax, Sarah was fab. Great job!

Decided to treat my daughter in law to a hair treatment (she has very curly long hair) so I emailed and asked for a “hair pamper” and got no response... so went in and specified that we would like the deep treatment, a trim and blow dry!.... explained my daughter in laws hair. We were given a joint appointment so we could get our hair done side by side.... when we arrived we were told to sit down....my daughter in law was taken off given a five minute treatment then sat in a chair left cold after having her back soaked in water with hair dripping!... I was left on the sofa and then taken to ha e my hair treatment. Which was also very short. Meanwhile my daughter in law had her hair trimmed and the roots dried and her natural curls wrapped around the hairdressers fingers then, after the hairdresser had to ask her how to do her hair as he didn’t have a clue??... she just asked him to leave it as he obviously didn’t have a clue?.... I had my treatment which was a bit better and actually got a head massage... still not a 15 minute hair treatment though! I asked her to trim 1/2 inch off and straighten it... I can’t deny it looks nice but I ended up with layers and lumpy wavy hair at the back as it was not straightened properly!... all in all the staff were pleasant but seemed under pressure, over booked and not entirely happy?... we did not have our treatments together in fact we did not see each other until we left. I was happy with the cut on my hair, but certainly not worth the price I paid. This was a treat for my daughter in law and she was quite upset at the result having never visited a hairdresser before!.... I think I will go back to ***** next time as I should have in the first place. Sorry guys really didn’t want to write this but we were both really disappointed and felt we needed to let you know.
