Im totally pleased with my experience at inkfish. My stylist was like and I had a tailored balayage colour and cut. First We had a chat through what I wanted, he fully understood and explained what he would do to achieve it so that we were both clear. He really tailored his techniques to achieve the tone and placement of the colour and checked in with me along the way, Turned out lush! Then the cut, I simply asked for a trim up, he didn't lop loads off like most would! And he cut the fringe in perfectly as I'd asked. Basically, I came away with the look I was after (even better with a few suggestions from him) rather than my usual experience at the hair dressers where they either use a standard style no matter what you ask for, or they don't really listen to what you want because 'they know better'. This time I was satisfied through and through. Definitely go back. Also the tea and coffee was great, everyone there very friendly. And lastly it was priced as you'd expect.. not extortionate, not cheap as chips..just so. Pleased customer. X

This time again the team have done an incredible job from booking, to consulting and finally to the actual making of it was outstanding. Luke did a fantastic job for my hairdo, knowing what my hair is like so by the time I got to prom it was perfect. Jen knew what I wanted with my makeup as soon as started describing the kind of look I was going for, she made it very comfortable and super easy to talk to, will definitely recommend her for any beauty treatments. For me.....Excellent salon. Superskilled stylist. Great atmosphere, relaxing. Drinks, music , mags and no worries that you won't like your do. Good advice too.

I have been using this salon for both hair and beauty treatments for approximately 11 years and I really wouldn’t go anywhere else. The beauty therapists are all lovely and Alice and Sarah are literally like my surrogate daughters and I absolutely love them to bits. They are professional and their level of attention to detail in their treatments is always 100%. Max does my hair and he is great at adding his thoughts without taking over and listening to what you really want from your visit. Inkfish is like a family and I would recommend them wholeheartedly!

It was my first visit and I can guarantee it wont be my last.i was made to feel very welcome even though I came in without an appointment.

The staff made me feel so comfortable and the atmosphere was lovely. The 4 hours getting my big curly mop highlighted, conditioned and cut flew by :) would highly reccomend!

Went in for waxing . Burnt and skin pulled off from upper lip. Didn’t let me be aware or apologised
Paid and then went home to find my face scarred and red ...

Max is an excellent stylist and made a fabulous job of my hair, I showed him a picture of what I had in mind and he interpreted it perfectly to suit my hair. Excellent all round experience!

Sophie did a great job on my hair! She took her time and I felt that she used precision on each layer. I am very happy with the results and would certainly go back to her again.

Happened to be in Truro for the day and desperately needed a hair cut. Saw this salon had good reviews so thought I’d give it a go. Ecstatic with the hair cut I got. I showed the stylist a picture and she recreated it beautifully and gave me advice on how to do it at home. I wish I lived in Truro as I would 100% come back here. Thank you!

What a great salon. Everyone is always so friendly and professional. The stylists are highly skilled and experienced so you know that if your regular stylist is unavailable, you are in safe hands with someone else. The atmosphere is always great, and not forgetting the cheeky glass of wine while you get pampered!

Very good service and yet a busy salon. Treatment explained well and undertaken straight away.
