As usual, I received a warm welcome. Nadine cut my hair beautifully, exactly how I wanted it. Very grateful that Hunter and Walsh are open and working in such difficult circumstances.

A lovely experience as always. Came in feeling tired and weary left with a spring in my step and fabulous hair.

I had my first every New Curl session today and am absolutely delighted. Mel could nor have taken more care or trouble to do the right thing for my curls abs listened to what I wanted. I felt pampered and am thrilled with my cut. Could not recommend enough - thank you so much! I am so pleased to have found you.

Brydie is so lovely and always does a great job with my hair. I've gone from dark to blonde and she's managed to keep my hair healthy by doing it in a couple of stages. Really pleased!

My first visit to H&W, lovely atmosphere, Melody made me feel very welcome and knew exactly how to handle my naturally curly hair. Very pleased with cut and style. Will be back!

I rang today, just in the off chance that one of the team might be free- and Eloise was! At 7.00pm!
My hair is short and very straight, and Eloise restored some texture with clever cutting, and gave it a lovely shape.

I've been going to Hunter Walsh for years and Nadine has always cut my hair. She knows my hair well ( it has a tendency to frizz) and she cuts it beautifully. She's always so friendly and cheerful. The salon on the seafront is airy, light and spacious and has lovely views of the harbour. The decor is excellent and I would recommend this to anyone. It may seem a bit more pricey than some but to me it's definitely worth it!

Roseabel was amazing! I had a fringe cut and she really took her time to make sure it was right. Lovely cut and style at the end too. Highly recommended.

I am loving my new hair! Viv was so friendly and enthusiastic about my restyle. She showed in her brilliant cutting that she really understood my hair and it's kinks and waviness, and I'm delighted with the end result!! Thumbs up from younger family members too - that's always a good sign! ?

What a great cut and colour from Laura. She works miracles with my hair - when she first took on the challenge of my hair it was damaged and badly broken. Now it is shiny and healthy. Nothing is too much trouble - even when I ask for curls !!! I feel so much better after my appointment - when your hair is great you can rule the day !!!

Another brilliant hair cut by Vivien who understands, perfectly, what I want. Great for my Zoom chats....! The salon is as lovely, friendly and welcoming as it always is and the safety procedures are second to none. Support your local hairdressers folks, they are wearing goggles, face masks and visors all day just to make us look good!

Overly impressed with my new hair. Brydie talked me through ideas of what do to and created a beautiful balayage which is more than what I imagined. I love my hair!!

I had my first haircut since lockdown and Eloise did a fantastic job. She cut 4 inches off the length and add some layers, it looked fantastic. She introduced me to a product that tames frizzy hair the more you wash. I've washed it twice since and I have noticed an improvement. I cannot wait for my next appointment. Thank you so much Eloise.

Lovely colour and cut, really perfect. Beet part of my week, hair sorted after months of abandonment!

Very good COVID procedures in place, and having not had my hair cut since March it was a great relief to finally get to the salon. As always, Freya gave a fab cut and I’m feeling like ‘me’ again!

I haven’t been able to get my hair cut and styled since before lockdown commenced, so was delighted to be able to get an appointment. I had been a bit nervous about attending a hair salon due to the potential infection risk of being in such close proximity to someone else but I was totally reassured by the comprehensive infection control measures H&W have put in place. Separate cubicles for clients, excellent social distancing and hand hygiene and customer safety centred attention to detail.
On top of that I had the usual excellent luxurious experience we all receive at H&W and after my haircut, I feel like me again for the first time in 6 months.

I was happy that Laura listened to my hair concerns and then precisely and carefully cut it. It looks much better.

Laura did an amazing job! Exactly what I asked for and couldn’t be happier my bob and my fringe is sitting perfectly already no training required. Lovely salon experience as always.

I've never been so excited about visiting my hairdresser than I was this Saturday (15 aug). Eloise did a fantastic job in cutting my overgrown locks, and adding layers. She finished by drying my hair curly which looked fab. She also used a new product (can't remember the name) on my hair which should produce better results in taming frizziness the more times you wash your hair! I'll be sure to let Eloise know how I get on. I also booked my next appointment in October. Thanks so much Eloise, see you soon x
