I normally have very short hair, but having “accidentally “ grown it over the past few months- I wasn’t sure what I wanted today. However, Freya has given my hair such a lovely shape, without it being too long- or too short!
Feels great, ready for son’s wedding in 3 days’ time....Also very impressed with the safety and hygiene standards, and loved being near an open window...Thanks very much!

It was brilliant to be back. Everything was as well organised and friendly as always. Eloise gave me an amazing haircut that even my husband noticed! Thank you all. Keep smiling. X

Thanks Brydie for a great cut. The last time you cut my hair was the middle of March and it is a testament to your cutting that it was still presentable four and a half months later post-Lockdown! Everyone in the salon from the front desk to the salon floor was welcoming and friendly and it was clear that a lot of thought and hard work has gone into making everyone feel safe in these strange times.

Thank you for another great hair cut, you have made everything feel safe without compromising the fantastic salon experience that you always provide.. Fab team, great salon, 9 years and still don’t want to go anywhere else?

Even though it was a slightly different experience due to the situation we find ourselves in, it was still a relaxing and comfortable one. It was great to see Freya and the rest of the staff after months of being closed. As usual Freya was able to help me decide what to do with my hair. Having not had it done since the end of Feb it was quite out of control. Welcome back ladies.

Jade has been cutting my hair for the past couple of years and she always does an excellent job. All staff are friendly and I’m made to feel very welcome for my whole visit. Although C19 has meant the salon had to adapt, today’s visit was just as good as ever. Thank you!

Thrilled with my visit to the salon today and my cut and highlights with Rosabel. I must say I found everyone very professional and aware of preventative measures to avoid the spread of Coronavirus.

Always a fab experience. Freya is a very talented hair stylist. Very impressed about the provision of PPE today. I am hard of hearing and I found the light and reflection from the visor made it hard for me to lip read Freya. Having said that I have been struggling with communication during the COVID so I do understand it’s for our protection. I felt excited about coming because it’s such an enjoyable experience each time I come. Lovely modern salon beautifully set out with a wonderful view

I hadn't had my hair cut for 6 months due to Covid so Mel had a job on her hands! My first visit to your salon too.
I came out feeling wonderful and looking younger.....that's my opinion and I'm sticking to it!

Everything in the salon has been sorted for the New Normal.....met at the door with hand sanitizer and mask and individual plastic gowns. As always, an excellent cut and very cheery staff.

As is usual Nadine provides an outstanding service. She is one of the best hairdressers I have been to. She listens to my ideas and makes suggestionsof her own, adding her knowledge and experience. My hair looked fabulous after my recent appointment. We are so lucky to have H&W in Penzance.

Had a great hair appointment today. Everything was excellent. The hygiene, the way all the staff, are taking the nead for, PPE seriously. From the minute I stepped, inside the salon, until the second I left, I felt, every necessary step was taken, to ensure, the safety, and hygiene protection of both myself and all staff. Thankyou. My last cut was with Brydie the week before lockdown. I cannot tell you having a complete new style has meant. I just arrived and said to Brydie take it all off. She was so excited 8 can tell you. I am so pleased and feel a new energy!! Thank you Brydie!!!

Freya is the ultimate professional, her natural flair for all aspects of hair shines through in all aspects of her work, it’s not often you find a stylist that is so versatile in colouring & cutting!
Her ability to actually listen to the client and understand how your hair works is a priceless ability.. and to top it off she gives the most perfect head massages ever ! Freya I adore you.

I am so pleased- Freya really ‘gets’ what I want and ta da! She’s done it. So good to be shorn after all this time!

Just refreshed my curls with a bit of water after my cut yesterday and my hair is the best they have ever looked, the most perfectly shape, rounded and voluminous but with lovely clean sharp edges - which is some feat given I have quite a mixed curl pattern. Very happy, can’t wait till my next cut. Thank you Viv xxx

What a treat today! Jade was so friendly and helpful and just as excited as me to go shorter! We talked about the pics I liked and she gave me an amazing result. She talked about the new products she was using for the balayage (which are gorgeous) and gave me helpful tips to style my hair. I feel like a new woman.

It was lovely to be back in the salon, open and Covid safe! My hair, as always, looks great after superb cut by Nadine. I did work out that I have had my hair done by Nadine for 30 years now - she was of course very young at the time! and working in Lionel Hicks, and I have followed her ever since! Keep up the great work! ??

My first..and much needed visit after lockdown..the salon is very well managed..making clients feel comfortable during this strange time..masks and one use overalls provided..you sit in your own personal booth and your stylist wears ppe..every aspect has been well thought through for covid ..so glad to have my colour and cut x

Must admit I was feeling slightly anxious about having my hair done but immediately felt I was in good hands from the moment I was greeted at the door by Laura.
