I haven't been in Glasgow too long and hadn't had my hair cut in a while, so was quite nervous. Nicky cut my hair and she was fantastic. She even went to the trouble of going on to Pinterest to find hair styles I would like. Very happy with my cut and the service. The staff were lovely and very attentive. I booked my second appointment before I left the salon.

This was my first time getting my haircut in the salon. Was greeted by the lovely receptionist Lesley, then taken by one of the juniors for my hair to be washed. Laura Lee was my stylist and she was absolutely amazing. I love my hair she took time to ask if everything was OK while cutting my hair. Thank you

I'm so glad I found this salon. I have been getting my hair done here for the last year and feel really comfortable when I'm here. I love the way they remember my name, and use it! To be greeted by a big smile and a "hello Karen ' starts the appointment off well. I like the layout of the salon and love the professionalism of the staff. My stylist, Nicki, is great. She now knows exactly how my hair works and I love the finished results.

Lorraine is excellent and I have to say it was the best Caci I have received to date. I left the saloon feeling relaxed, with glowing skin and what felt like a work out on my face.

Have only been going to Ellen Collins for a year and by chance came across a stylist Nicki who is fantastic!! Just love her and my son now goes to her ... have recommended friends to her now and everyone delighted ...

Was given a voucher as a gift for a facial treatment and had the best experience ever. Was also treated to a colour and cut which I am delighted with. Walked out of the shop feeling a million dollars. A happy and extremely friendly environment that I will definitely return to.

I was given a cut and colour by Laura and couldn't be happier with the results. Walking in I had a very vague idea of what I wanted to do with my hair but I left feeling amazing. The atmosphere in the salon is so relaxing and the customer service is outstanding.

Was so pleased not to have the brace donning, perfectly curled hair adolescent washing my hair again who forgot to apologize for knocking a brush off the side of my head,whose hair massage lasted all of 15 seconds and who forgot to wash the underside of my dyed hair!!! I can't complain about my hair stylist and the atmosphere felt more relaxed than I have experienced in the 3 years I have been attending this salon. I really hope those who care read the reviews and take on board that high end hairdressing salons require juniors to mirror the image they are striving for. My experience on Saturday was great and my review is based on this...please inform juniors not to ask stereotypical hairdressers questions ie do you have any holidays planned etc!!

I visited ECH for a hair up by Nicky and I was thrilled with the result as well as her evident attention to detail and the time she took to ensure the style was how I wanted it, this made it well worth the price. I was made to feel very comfortable and welcome by the staff from the moment I walked in. By far one of the best salon experiences I've had and will definetly be back, would highly recommend Nicky for hair up's!

I love coming to Ellen Conlin to get my hair done. The salon is bright and airy and clean. Everyone is very friendly and OMG what a job Nicky did with my hair! I love it. Recommend that you give this salon a try - you won't regret it.

As a heavily pregnant lady, I was feeling particularly unglamorous walking into the über stylish ECH, especially on one of Glasgow's hottest days! Was made to feel
So welcome by staff and my hair needs were sensitively acknowledged by my lovely stylist, Laura. All the little touches are what make this indulgent hair experience worth every penny. The hospitality doesn't feel false and it is for this reason that I will be back post-baby. Have left with a super bouncy blow dry which still holds the following day. I may not feel like myself, but my hair looks perfect. Looking forward to my next visit already...PS your air con was a life saver!

Was not sure what to expect as it was a surprise gift. Lovely experience. Ryan was extremely pleasant and appeared to really care about what you wanted. Took a lot of time cutting and did a great job.

Was not sure what to expect with getting highlights as my hair is so dark however the lovely Laura was so professional and made sure that you left happy! I now have lovely summery highlights to match this lovely weather! Would highly recommend, thank you again!

My stylist is fantastic, but for a hairdressing salon aiming for the high end of the market they should pay more attention to the often poor service provided by the juniors they employ.

Excellent as always. Friendly, accommodating and more than competent.

I have been coming for years and can't imagine going anywhere else. I tend to go for waxing and eye brow colouring but have also had my hair cut and put up for a wedding. Always made to feel comfortable and welcome. Always taken on time. Always accommodated when looking for a last minute app. The quality of the service is exceptional.

I have been coming here since I moved back to Glasgow 4 years ago and even though I've since moved 20 miles west of the city I will still come back to see Irene. I get waxing, tanning, lashes etc all done and she's the best. A lovely person too and very professional. Thanks Irene!!

There are some salons where the service varies - sometimes great, sometimes average - Ellen Conlin is consistently great - will return !

I have been coming to ECH for their beautician service for several years and despite moving to the north of the city I continue to use their services. Fantastic service, good online booking service and overall very efficient, friendly team. Both Lorraine and Irene are brilliant and are always good for a chat as well as being great at their job.

Going to a Salon should be an enjoyable and positive experience combining professionalism with informality and fun and a lack of pretension. A big part of that is leadership and seamless teamwork. From the minute you walk into the salon, the staff make you feel very welcome. The personal touch of your welcome on your mirror is a lovely touch. This is the 2nd time I have visited the salon with Nicki Ferrie. Her experience and advice were fantastic. The fact that the staff consult each other and discuss it with you makes you feel at ease and confident that the staff trust each other and work extremely well together. This cooperation and clear consultation put me at ease and gave me confidence. Every member of staff is friendly and happy to chat - it makes for a very welcoming and friendly atmosphere. From the warm welcome when I arrived, the nice personalisation of my appointment (a welcome greeting at your seat, the time spent talking to me about what I was looking for to the end result, this was one of the nicest experiences....I put my trust in the team and they delivered.....

The team at ECH are really friendly and professional. I have been trying to achieve a certain colour for years at other various salons without much luck. So I booked at ECH with stylist Ruth who listened to what I wanted and after one appointment delivered! I will be definitely going back :)

Can't fault anything , from the minute you walk in the door such a warm welcome from reception.
Both Chris and Laura have done my hair and each time i have been delighted with the results.
Excellent colourists with exceptional cutting and finish. I travel all the way from Edinburgh to see the team and they never fail to deliver.

Found this lovely salon on line which just so happens is close to my dentist. Lovely relaxed atmosphere with very welcoming staff. Had my hair washed and blow dried,gel nails and purchased some great hair products. Staff extremely accommodating as I was late for my appointment. I'll be back on future visits to Glasgow! Highly recommend!
