As a salon we pride ourselves on delivering the highest standards of customer service to each and every client. Our talented team of stylists and technicians are on hand to give you expert advice and create hair that is individual and easy to live with, interpreting fashion trends with versatile wearable styles.

I was so excited to get my hair done as it had old dye fading out at the ends like a bad balayage. The lady who coloured my hair was lovely and did explain that we needed to match the all over hair colour to my darkest patch and that to begin with my hair will look dark. We looked at options and decided on a colour which was cooler because I didn’t want a dark brown with loads of red in it. I wanted a colour closer to my natural colour.

The lady who washed my hair and cut it hardly spoke to me and seemed irritated when I showed some examples on Pinterest of the kind of cut I would like, that I felt I had to apologise. Whilst washing my hair she didn’t ask if the temperature was ok, she didn’t speak to me at all until I asked if the conditioning treatment had been put in - which she explained she had. Had I not asked I wouldn’t have known. The head massage lasted for about 20seconds and was very disappointing.

There was no atmosphere in the salon, no conversation (aside from with the colourist at the beginning) it was very silent aside from the Toni & Guy music reel. Generally not a good vibe.

In all fairness the cut is fantastic and I’m really happy with it. At the time I was happy with the colour but since being outside and catching it in natural light, it looks so dark - the ends are almost black. I’ve washed my hair twice since now and it’s still not what I like. The colour has a lot of red in it and coppery, something I wanted to move away from.

I paid £146 for a disappointing experience, made to feel embarrassed for opening up a Pinterest board and a hair colour I really dislike. I feel so upset and wish I had never gone in. I do want to make it clear the colourist couldn’t have been nicer, it’s just a shame that it hasn’t worked out.

Leigh cut my 5 year old's hair and a young gentleman cut my 11 year old's hair (didn't catch his name sorry!!) and both have got excellent cuts following what we wanted and also following the natural way their hair grows. Have been to this salon a few times now with the boys and they always get superb cuts. Toni and Guy are not the cheapest but fully worth paying because the quality of the cuts is amazing (I've been a customer of Toni and Guy at another salon since 2000 and last year decided enough was enough when I moved house and I would take my boys and they do get a discount mon-weds). Especially my 11 year old has difficult hair to manage because of various features of it and all stylists that have cut it have understood what to do with it so it never sticks up. Leigh has cut one of my boys each time we've gone to the salon and always been exceptional. But the other stylists who have cut one of them alongside her have also always produced the same excellent results and today was no exception from your young male stylist. I want to thank you for such excellent cuts and know that it's really appreciated and that you will have our continued custom.

Stuart was fine, no problem with haircut. However, ***** was at reception when I walked in and was so focused on her mb phone that she didn’t notice me stand there for at least 3 mins. Eventually I sat down and a few minutes later she asked if I was waiting! I don’t mind waiting if she was busy, but she was completely unaware of her physical surroundings as she texted - she had absolutely no sense that I had arrived. I don’t expect special treatment but this is so unprofessional and needs to be addressed.

Steph is such a professional, knows exactly how to tame my wiry locks. My colour changed slightly this time, to tone down and the usual regrowth was covered, my cut was a shape up for growing it a little longer, and my blow dry made me look amazing (for me) as always, looking forward to my next visit.
