Had a great haircut from Mac today. She was super helpful in advising me about the best colour to go for and also gave me some tips on hair care for swimmers. I was twice offered tea and coffee :-). All in all I felt I was very well looked after and got a cut which was just what I wanted. Thanks!

20 minute appointments insufficient to Shampoo, Style, and book further appointments.No longer a relaxing experience.
This salon deserves top marks in every aspect. The staff are caring, competent and creative. The experience is very keenly priced. I like the way that ALL sectors of the community are catered for. The clientele is very much mixed age, mixed gender and diverse. Nobody feels uncomfortable here. I like too that there is no stinting with the use of hair products. In addition, the front of house receptionist is endlessly helpful fitting people in and reception is welcoming to all with comfortable seating and fresh flowers.
Once again Shapes creates another lovely up do for me! Service with a smile too!

I not happy with my colour. Felt really rushed. shade. Not what I asked for been left ginger when I wanted and always had blonde and left with streaks across my hair as well as blotches where bleach had leaked out the foil. My hair is a mess still trying to repair the damage when I said I didn’t like the colour. I was made to feel I was being an inconvenience as she had to put a toner through my hair after all it was now home time. (One star in value wasn’t meant but can’t take it back out for some reason )
The result from today is excellent my hair is neatly cut and very silky after the blow dry/straighten thank you!

Probably the worst haircut I've had - not at all what I asked for. I asked for it to be cut about chin length - it's well below my shoulders. I asked for layers - it's practically straight across. Looks like a child's haircut. I won't be going back.
