Medusa is simply the best hairdressers in Edinburgh. I have been going there for 10 yellars or so. Their professionalism, the salon and the fabulous tea they offer all combine to make it a great experience!

Fraser is an incredible stylist and colourist and has transformed my short hair over a few visits. Thoughtful and considered colour and styling. And a lovely friendly and happy atmosphere in the salon too. Highly recommend.

Fraser is always friendly and gives a professional haircut. He has lovely manners and treats staff and customers in a relaxed way. He is always on time for his appointments.

Fraser has cut my hair, my husbands hair and my sister in laws hair for a long time. We would never want anyone else. He is a fabulous hairdresser and has a great calming welcoming manner. He is a professional hairdresser and spends time with you asking what you want and always delivers this.

I arrived with possibly the worst haircut I’ve ever had which I had been growing out for two months. Fraser completely got the idea of what I wanted and transformed my unruly out of shape and badly highlighted short hair into a sleek sharp streamlined and very flexible and up to date cut which I absolutely adore. Just perfect.

I am really pleased with my short, choppy cut from Fraser - the end result was exactly what I was hoping for!

Have been going to Zara for years and as usual she listened to me and gave me what I wanted. Always a great haircut! Good chat and she’s friendly and talented!

On arrival I was told that my usual hairdresser symonne was unavailable and could be substituted by Zara. Zara was excellent!

Lovely cut - gradually achieving a different shape which I’m really enjoying. Fraser really understands colour too & I’m so pleased with it.

First class haircut as usual

Zara was a friendly and professional stylist who offered a little extra to her service, from a head massage while washing my hair to happily taking off more length from my hair on request. I’d happily go back to her next time I’m in Edinburgh! And my hair felt wonderfully soft and smooth after she was done!

I had a very specific set of requests and Zara met every single one, to a tee. Really pleased with the result - thanks Zara!

Fraser did a really great cut n restyle

Fraser is a great guy. He is so friendly, very polite and makes you feel so welcome when you arrive at the salon. He is an amazing stylist. I often get asked where I get my hair cut as he is a perfectionist. I think I get good value but I marked one star down as I know not everyone can afford Medusa prices.

She is a very kind and friendly person.
