Medusa Hair Salon Stockbridge, Edinburgh

The whole experience was so nice, Nicola was so kind and treated my hair so well. My hair is quite thick and it was left feeling so light and soft. The price for the service was very fair considering the talent of the stylist.

Medusa Stockbridge is an AWESOME salon, and Kat is THE best stylist. She's technically superb and a great human being too.

I have always received a wonderful service at Medusa in Stockbridge since I discovered their salon there a number of years ago. Nicola, my stylist, is highly skilled and puts you at ease throughout the consultation. She is highly professional and I feel she really listens to what I am looking for and intuitively styles and colours my hair to perfection every time. I can highly recommend Medusa to anyone.

Visited the salon today for the first time and had a cut and blow dry with Peter. The whole team were really welcoming, totally covid secure. Salon has a lovely vibe. Peter was amazing, really listened to what I was after then made some really cool suggestions. Absolutely love my new cut and will definitely be back!

Was in for my regular highlights and cut. Relaxed and professional service, lovely colours and nicely shaped cut. All done in just two hours.

I would never trust any other hairdresser other than Kat. She has an exceptional knowledge in all things hair, and is always so lovely and polite.

The salon is also so stylish, and their hygiene is exceptional in view of COVID. I always feel safe.

I was nervous about having a new hairdresser to make a major colour change after lockdown. Peter had already impressed me when I had a consultation, and I am delighted with the result of his work. Peter is exceptionally professional, but also friendly and approachable when discussing out the plan.
All other staff were obviously well-trained and professional, too, and I was well taken care of.

Almost a week after my haircut by Peter, and I still love it! He knew exactly what I meant when I asked for a specific cut, he not only cut it perfectly, with great chat, he also gave me brilliant advice on how to maintain the style at home. The whole salon feels so covid safe, and runs so smoothly that I felt perfectly comfortable as soon as I stepped inside. Can't wait to visit again soon!

Peter is an amazing person, and stylist. When I ask him to make it look good as often I don’t have a look I’m after, he flourishes his blade or scissors and voila- amazing hair. That’s why I keep going back.
