Kate gave me a fab cut and colour today along with lots of good advice. Everyone in the salon is smiley and friendly and the shampooing head massage was amazing! Highly recommended.

Had my colour done by Kirsty. The result is very natural, just what l wanted. I'm very pleased with the result. Kirsty is such a nice person as well, it was a pleasant experience.

Excellent service. Fab shampoo with a good head massage. Old hair from the day before on the chair was a bit odd putting but is still happily return to the salon again.

Been a Medusa regular for over five years, won't go anywhere else now. Jenni is absolutely fantastic, always go to her for a cut/ colour. She is amazingly creative and also helps me decide exactly what is right for me. She is attentive, extremely skilled at what she does and provides a wonderful salon experience from start to finish. The staff are lovely too and you always feel welcomed and well looked after. Would highly recommend Jenni at Medusa and regularly do! Thanks!

Ashley always kept me informed about what she was doing and if I wanted an extra adjustment to my hair she acted like it was no problem. Also didn't ask about work which to me is a bonus.

Had my hair cut this morning by Marnie, it took 45mins for a wash, long hair cut with fringe and blow dry. My hair looks and feels great! Marnie always does a great job and is lovely to chat to ?

Relaxed and unpretentious salon. Jenni was amazing , first time in years someone has cut and styled my hair the way I wanted it.

Laurence has transformed my brown wispy hair by mixing highlights, I now have healthy looking auburn hair. I am delighted. The cut is amazing and makes my hair look thick and shiny. Laurence listened to what I asked for and made me feel special on every part of the process. His passion for hair but chilled out manner was refreshing. I can't thank him enough. I would recommend him to anyone who wants a new look.

Jenni is the best hairdresser on the block!!!!!! I trust her to make all the best decisions with my hair and she never lets me down. I always leave feeling re-energized and super glam. I'd recommend her to anyone and everyone!!!! The salon is always fun- all the staff are super nice, accommodating and good chat. Always have a nice experience here. Kate is extremely knowledgeable about hair and products. I never feel pressured to purchase anything she suggests, but I've not been disappointed with any of the products I've purchased on her recommendation.

My second time visiting the salon and very happy with my haircut. Kate takes the time to find out what I want and makes suggestions (which is always welcome as I'm normally not exactly sure what I want!). It's a large busy salon with a friendly atmosphere.

I went in to Medusa today not expecting much of a change from my hair as it always seems really hard to get the warmth out of my blonde, although the results Ashley achieved with my hair were amazing! Absolutely in love with my icy blonde hair, will definitely be returning to her soon! The deal they have that if you are recommended to a certain stylist by someone or if you recommend someone to them is really good, especially when you're recieving the service you do. Very happy overall!

First time in salon and really pleased with cut and colour. Everyone welcoming and friendly, with bespoke advice and quality service from Laurence.

Normally, it's my favourite salon and I come here every time I need my hair cut. However, this time it was so poorly cut that I can't do anything with it now and it looks ridiculous. Also, my hair is a lot dryer now than it was before the visit, as if it was burnt. I guess I will have to cut it short now for it to look OK.

Very happy with my cut.

I have been a client of Medusa's for a couple of years now and I rate them as the absolute best salon I have ever been to. From my first visit to my most recent (today), Kirsty has always looked after me very well and is a great ambassador for the business. As a hairdresser, she is absolutely superb! However, her customer care is second to none. I have visited salons all around the country and never have I had such great customer service. Kirsty is always very accommodating and offers brilliant advice when recommending products. Any products she has recommended, have always been as effective as described (no upselling for the sake of it). I'd recommend Kirsty and Medusa to anyone in Edinburgh!

I had my hair cut and coloured this morning with *****. She has always done a good job and I have had lots of compliments. However, this time I felt the colour wasn't what I expected- too big a leap from previous colour and I don't feel it suits my skin tone. In addition my hair looks dry and out of condition and isn't cut as well as it usually is. So disappointed and would appreciate some response to this. Lorna Nisbet

I can't thank Kirsty enough - her expert hands have guided me from tired, fried blonde to a buttery, rich and natural ash blonde. She was also knowledgeable and honest about recommended after care and products.

She was right on every count and even squeezed me in for a much needed trim. My boyfriend even noticed the cut and said it's my best haircut yet...will definitely be back.

Finally, I can be proud of my hair again, Kirsty put a real spring back in my step.
