Great salon. Love my haircut. Highly recommend.

Not been to Ishi for many years due to a house move and the salon not being local to me anymore. Tried various other salons since then and not been happy. Returning to Ishi was a great move, Lynn listened to what I wanted and gave me a great hair cut that I love! She spent time consulting with me through the process to result in the best hair cut I’ve had in years.

Lynn is absolutely amazing. I left a new person after having a mop turned in to a beautiful Bob. So happy and wouldn't hesitate recommending Lynn.

The salon and staff were as welcoming as ever. Lynn listens to exactly what you want, makes you feel comfortable from start to finish and takes the utmost care whilst doing so.

Lynn took the time from my first visit to understand my hair and she matches that knowledge and her expertise to my needs every time. I alwaus leave Ishi with my hair looking great!

Side note... I've always been nervous of hairdressers because my hair is 'difficult' (thick, curly, dry and prone to frizz). Many hairdressers are just not able to cut that sort of hair well. Lynn is one of few that does it really well.

Lynn’s cuts are always transformational and grow out beautifully.

Chris always makes a superb job of cutting my hair. Although different with the mask on and the atmosphere a little altered due to covid restrictions, Chris was welcoming and his usual warm self. Thank you so much again Chris. And I love the addition of Ruby, the salon dog!

I started using Lynn at Ishi a couple of years ago and have never failed to be 100% delighted. A wealth of knowledge, a great memory for my likes and dislikes and a hugely skilled stylist. I’ve now moved out of Edinburgh happily return to get my hair done.

A six weekly highlight, Chris sorted my hair with usual skills: amazing colour; professional approach; superb attention to Covid hygiene; additional bonus of salon doggo Ruby. Can’t recommend highly enough, thank you.
