Chris provided the usual highest standards of colour/cut and finish - listens to what is wanted, adds his skills and I left with my hair 100% better than when I arrived. It’s always a joy to go to Ishi in Marchmont, with NHS rate very much appreciated.

I have always had excellent haircuts from Chris and Lynn. Yesterday I took my 4 year old daughter for her first haircut and she absolutely loved the whole experience! Chris washed her hair, which made her giggle, so she had the full salon experience and came out with a lovely haircut. Her curls were beautiful and soft, it still looks great this morning! Really hygienic especially after lockdown and covid. First thing you see when you walk in is a dedicated stand for alcohol gel. The salon has been recently refurbished. Even the lights are soft. The staff are friendly and eager to make your experience the best you've had. Lynn has been my stylist for 19 years. She has coloured my hair literally ever colour of the rainbow, every style you can think of (from shaved to all the way to the middle of my back), and she knows me so well. You can trust her to listen to you. She's a true artist with hair.

I was very happy with the cut and blow dry which I had with Chris. He listened to my concerns and cut to deal with the problem.

I gave short hair but heat was getting to me and Lynn helped create a smart new style involving clippers and skill full blending of the layers - would recommend ?

Have been going to Chris for years and as always a brilliant cut, this time in his fantastic newly refurbished salon.

Bit disappointed tbh. Not as good a cut as I was hoping for. Probably won't return. Other clients' hair looked great though, so maybe I was just unlucky!
