Wow! Delighted is an understatement. I have naturally wavy mid length hair. More often than not, no one seems to cut my layers the way I prefer which results in a lot of teasing by me while styling. Marco got it spot on. Woke up this morning with perfect hair. Best haircut I have ever had, Marco has a great personality too. Thank you Marco and looking forward to my colour in a few weeks.

Especially pleased with the excellent job done on young Caela’s haircut and relieved to see all my split ends away, our first fantastic hair do’s since lockdown!

I thought that the service I received and also the haircut itself where both of a very high standard. The covid measures in place where of a high quality making you feel very safe when in the salon.

Medusa is my favourite salon I’ve been to so far: great staff and clean and welcoming environment.

I’ve been three times so far and I haven’t been disappointed once. It is a little pricey (especially for a student) but it is worth investing in your hair. Would and have recommended this salon to friends.

Marco was excellent and gave me the best haircut I have had in Scotland. The Hanover street salon felt very COVID safe and I would definitely Recommend it to anyone!

Marco did an amazing job on my pre-Christmas haircut! The best hairdresser ever and I wouldn’t go to anyone else in Edinburgh. He is great to chat to, makes me feel completely at ease and always makes my hair look great. He knows exactly what I want without me having to say anything! Couldn’t recommend him enough!!

Overall, my hair looks alive again! I have long wavy hair and it takes me a moment to depart with my dead ends. I am a stage 5, dead ends clinger with my hair, due to my love of long hair. However, the end result made me glad I did! I have beautiful fresh locks, whilst still maintaining a good length.

I’m a first-time (but def not last-time) visitor to the salon. I came in for a long-overdue change and had seen some of Paul’s recent cuts on Instagram. I’m so delighted with the results and I had a really relaxing, enjoyable experience too.

I had a lot of regrowth and wanted a balayage effect to blend my hair more naturally- not the easiest to do but Marco did a fantastic job and I’m really happy with the look! Michael also did a great cut for me. Happy to have found my new salon!

Marco was amazing and did an incredible job cutting and shaping my curls! Such a great experience, my first time at Medusa, and so nervous because I have very coiled curly hair, I will definitely be back!

Michael was so lovely and knew exactly what I wanted with very little hesitation. The salon felt safe and clean and was very welcoming. My haircut was professional and he took his time to make sure it was done to a high standard. I absolutely love it! I’ll be back again for sure.

Paul always makes me feel welcome when I come in the salon. He listens to me, making our chats genuine. I trust him when I want a change of style and colour . Once you go Paul, you'll never go back!!
