The salon has a great atmosphere, though everyone is of the utmost professionalism, it remains warm and welcoming. Paul is wonderful both in his skills and his patience. He always takes the time to talk you through options and there is never an ounce of frustration - even with a wriggling 4 year old in his chair.
Chris is also incredibly skilled at what he does, my hair has never looked better and my appointments are always filled with great conversation.
At ishi you are never stuck awkwardly staring at a magazine. All the staff are welcoming and great stylists.
I would never go anywhere else.

I went to Ishi salon for the first time yesterday. It had a lovely relaxed atomosphere and Craig was wonderful. Top class cut and colour and Ill definately be back.

Had a super blow dry before heading out to a drinks party. Really friendly stylist and very pleased with the result. Really recommend Ishi.

Excellent service from the moment I walked in to the moment I left. I was greeted on arrival and the staff made me feel welcome. The stylist (Chris) was very friendly and chatted to me throughout the time I was in the chair.
I would definitely recommend Ishi to other people.

Highlights, cut and blow dry by Isla. Superb, perfect subtle colour, great cut and best blow dry. All staff brilliant. Isla is simply the best.

Love this salon. Tracy is amazing; she really listens and delivers exactly what you ask for. I've recommended her to others, and recommended her to you, too. The salon is centrally located - great if you're on the bus or tram. Parking is expensive, though. Good atmosphere in the salon and usually great music.

As always, love my trip to Edin to see Isla and the irrepressible Craig at Ishi.
Always leave with great hair and feeling good having enjoyed a couple of hours catching up on all the gossip and off loading all of mine!

Having my hair cut and coloured by Isla at Ishi is always great. Isla has ideas and suggests little changes which keep me from getting bored while I'm growing my hair. It's such a relaxing experience, and everyone's friendly. I would highly recommend Ishi and especially Isla.

I love coming to Ishi I've been a client there for several years now. I never feel undervalued and I always get great service. Paul and the team always make sure my hair is always beautiful, people often ask where I get my hair done. Can't recommended them highly enough!

Paul Paterson again sent me home with the most amazing haircut I absolutely love it! He is a master at his profession! All staff at Ishi salon are fantastic, friendly, welcoming and very attentive! Would recommend amd always do to all my friends and family!!

What a lovely way to spend an hour - and what patience Isla and Paul have. Nothing's too much trouble

The lovely Isla tends to my thinning locks and I popped in for a blow dry on Wednesday 25th August.
I paid an extra £6 for a conditioning treatment and then Isla worked her magic. From frizzy hair to smooth hair, with volume in 50 mins. Isla is not only a magician she also offers terrific advice on how to manage your own hair.
The salon is friendly and there is also the bonus of the the lovely Karen who is an A1 nail technician.

A great salon and Isla is super talented.
