Had my hair cut and coloured here over the years ! But was disappointed last time when had hair cut and full highlights running short of time just asked for hair to be dried quickly and if possible run the straightens over it .... stylist said that was not included in the price ... Would have taken less than 5 mins !!!! Total let down when spending over £140 !!!!!! Has put me off coming back !!!

As always the staff are lovely and very professional. I am always pleased with my hair and I really enjoy going to the salon

I have been a customer at Wilson's Macclesfield for many years and now my teenage daughters also have their hair styled here. The standards at Wilson's are consistently very high in terms of professionalism and customer service.
I was particularly impressed today since my 13 year old daughter had managed to get her hair into a dreadful, matted dreadlock which we had spent hours trying to untangle with no success. Wilson's staff were hugely helpful in treating this, detangling as far as possible and finally styling to create a really pretty look from what I thought was unsalvageable situation. I really thought we would be leaving the salon with a crew cut and instead we left with a lovely, feminine cut which suits my daughter very well. The help and attentiveness of everyone concerned we super impressive. Many thanks to all at Wilson's and to Sammy in particular!!

Wilson's is simply an excellent salon. The staff and proprietor are as efficient as they are courteous. Reasonably priced. They will always endeavour to accommodate with convenient appointments, and this even at the busiest of time. Special mention to my preferred stylist, Kayleigh, who is as skilled a hairdresser as she is lovely a person. Highly recommend this salon.

I have been going to Wilsons for a few years now . Always friendly and pleasant . Kelly my hair stylist is very good and experienced, always listens and advices appropriately and we make decisions re colour together . Sammy is also very good known her as a trainee and now a stylist again very professional she cuts both of my daughters hair . I would always recommend Wilsons especially Kelly and sammy would not dream of going anywhere else now . All staff are friendly .

Hairdresser left my hair quite limp and flyway, and fringe was cut way too short and wonky when I only asked for a teeny bit off. I should have cut my own fringe. Although I told her I wanted my hair styled blue w dried straight she proceeded to flat iron my hair which I never asked for.

I had my second visit recently and had Paula this time, very pleased with the cut and she is very friendly.The only downside to my visit was the conversation I overheard where a stylist with dark shoulder lenght hair, was talking down to a trainee in the vicinity of myself and the other 2 ladies having their hair done. It made me feel uncomfortable, if It happened again I would have to say something to the stylist.

Best hair wash/head message ever had. Great friendly staff. Genuinely listened to style requirements, checked and confirmed what I wanted. Lovely stylist. Felt really comfortable with whole experience and would definitely recommend Wilsons.

Came to Wilsons for first time at short notice to have hair put up for events evening. Unfortunately I was really disappointed with the result. Stylist obviously had very little experience of hair up and even put a band in!!! Have had my hair put up on many occasions and this was the very poor in contrast. To be honest could have done better myself! Cost was £25 and normally charged around £20. Won't be returning

I went with my hair all long and boring and in need of a change and came outwith a new doo a new great feeling love my new hair!!!

Had a lovely blow dry today with Sammie! Sammie decided what would look good and did it differently to how I normally have it and I love it! Thanks so much x

Made an appointment a few days before for a cut and finish after a recommendation from a friend. They were very friendly and very efficient. I wasn't kept waiting despite being a few minutes early. The stylist was really good and I'm really happy with the finish.

I had an appointment today with Paula for a cut and blow. Paula listened to my requirements and advised me on how to improve my colour damaged hair (done at a different salon) moving forward. My cut is great and it feels so much better and much more healthy. I made an appointment to come back in December for a cut and colour. Paula was very friendly and gave me some great advice on getting my hair back on track. Looking forward to my next visit.

Wilsons have saved my hair when an attempt to go from red to blonde went badly wrong. They took my damaged neon yellow/orange hair and turned it to a lovley silvery ash blonde which is exactly what I wanted. They were patient and cheerful throughout the process and very knowledgeable at their job. I would highly recommend :)

I had a lovely experience at the salon! As I wasn't sure what I wanted from my new hair cut the stylist talked me though different options and we decided on a style. Everyone was very friendly and helpful while I was there.

I had a completely new style with Paula this morning. I am absolutely in love with the result. 36 years and honestly the best haircut I have ever had. Paula really listened and the result is wonderful. Lovely salon, super friendly staff and I only wish I'd found Paula sooner! Oh and a good £30 cheaper than I have spent in years! Thank you.

I went to Macclesfeld Wilsons for the first time yesterday and it certainly wouldn't be the last. Everyone was so lovely, My stylist ( Paula I believe her name was) was friendly and welcoming on my first visit to the salon ( I sometimes worry when I go try somewhere new they'll be a bit off) but nope I was made to feel right at ease. Chatty and friendly and spoke to me about products that may benefit me without a forced sales person technique... Which subsequently had me purchasing a supplementary treatment on the day ( heat cure which was fab). She did a great job listening to what I wanted, which is never very much to my long hair and she didn't try to force anything on me style wise which I like.

Overall lovely salon experience, will definitely return.

I am absolutely thrilled with the result and Kelly as always friendly and professional .

Had my hair cut and coloured today, so pleased, Kelly has worked her magic, lovely cut, have made my next appointment, it just had to be done!

Overall happy with my visit and hair colour and cut. I was, however, Unhappythe wash and conditioning service I received. The hair towards the back of my head was not washed properly and the conditioner not combed through. Whilst the girl was washing/conditioning she was constantly interrupted by one of the stylist asking her to do fit in other work - ( this was not heather - but a lady with dark shoulder lengthy hair). I Was constantly asked to put my head back but the basin was too high - which I mentioned. Heather was as usual excellent and at the point of cutting my hair acknowledged that I was not happy with the wash explaining I could still feel and smell the colour which had been applied. Heather then re-washed and combed through the conditioner having seated me st a different bowl. The numbers below are only a reflection of the poor washing - otherwise they would be higher.

Had a hair cut layered by Paula, she was lovely and made me comfortable. She got it cut exactly the way I wanted it and styled it nicely for a finishing touch. Definitely worth the price and would recommend it :)

I've been going to Wilsons for over a year now, initially for correction as my hair was ruined at a previous salon, they didn't promise miracles and told me it would take while to get my hair where I wanted it without being damaged further and I now have the hair I wanted, a gorgeous colour, and a brilliant cut by April as always, couldn't recommend them highly enough.

I have been coming to Wilsons since I was young,
My mum brought me here because I wanted to start dying my hair and she wanted it done properly. Even now I still go back every 8 weeks to see April, I would never go anywhere else as its such a professional job as well as a lovely environment to be in.

The colour always looks so good and people compliment my hair whenever I have had it done.
Well worth the price :)

I have been going to Wilsons for many years and have to say that not only are the staff friendly, knowledgeable and approachable, the salon is also clean and tidy, the advice is spot on and I always leave extremely pleased! All the staff are very accommodating and also know how to have a laugh with the customers.

Fairly priced, a great choice of products & services as well as a good selection of refreshments with current magazines!

I've been going to Wilsons Hairdressing Macclesfield for 8 or so years and always been thrilled with result. Professional, friendly and courteous staff who listen to what it is you want doing. A must!
Found it a bit expensive in recent years, what with saving for a house and had to stop going for a bit, but have gone back now as their colouring and cuts are 2nd to none. Though their graduate staff are excellent and more what my budget can afford right now. (Sorry to sound like a cheapskate, but first house and all!) Altogether amazing salon. Nice of them to supply pampering extras such as drinks and Indian head massage during hair wash.
All staff very pleasant and hard working. Can't imagine ever going somewhere else again. x
