Kayleigh did an amazing job of my hair! I hadn’t had it cut in two years and it was really thick and scraggly. She transformed it into a beautiful lob with lovely layers and made it feel super healthy. I was really anxious before hand and everyone there made me feel super welcome and comfortable. I couldn’t recommend enough and I can’t wait to go back!

I’m in my late fifties so I’ve been to a lot of salons in my time. This salon is a rare find. I don’t have the easiest head of hair, thick, coarse and lots of it. Usually I go to a new salon and they are ‘OK’ at first visit, then they get bored with the amount of work my hair takes and less effort is put into the following visits. I expected the same here but was delighted to find Kayleigh at Wilson’s. She is super conscientious, she really cared that I got the best of the experience and was happy with my new hair cut and colour. Also that I had a plan going forward.
I was going from very dark to light, and from long to a bob so in addition to booking a consultation, I booked a cut & blow to give us plenty of time to talk about the options and give her time to see how much hair I have!
I would highly recommend if you are thinking of a big change, book Kayleigh, book a blow dry or cut first and give her the opportunity to discuss every option.
I am delighted with my new colour and cut. I have no reservations about my next visits as Kayleigh’s attentive and thorough attitude towards me as her client has not wavered on each of my visits.

I had lewis to colour my hair from a bad experience at another salon and he absolutely smashed it. i have never had such a fantastic experience at a hair salon, i left loving my colour, he talked me through every single step and was so so amazing and did exactly what i asked for. 100% recommend this salon and will be going back, they have a new regular. such a positive and welcoming atmosphere too!

Visited Wilson's for haircut from Ellie. Great experience, Ellie very welcoming and friendly, made me feel very much at ease. Discussed cut required thoroughly which was then professionally carried out. Salon exceptionally clean, hand sanitiser available for use, everything wiped down after each person, including chairs, sinks etc. Environment felt very safe. Would definitely recommend.

Switched from another salon to Wilsons and got a perfect haircut from Aoife today; she was very knowledgeable and professional, always attentive to what I wanted. Thank you! I will definitely be back.

Excellent as ever

Lewis is an excellent stylist. He gives straightforward, good advice on your hair after weighing it up and I think he does a very good cut.

Just had an amazing cut style and blow wave by April.
She listened then advised and then made me look 10 years younger.

At last, the solution to my unruly thick frizzy hair.

Kerastraight Treatment at first seems a little pricey but the results you achieve makes it so worthwhile.

The time you save trying to straighten your hair will be cut by half and you don’t damage your hair from overuse of straightening gadgets.

For me, best thing since sliced bread!!!!

Wonderfully soothing head massage prior to the best haircut I've had in a long time.

From being a young whipper snapper, to being a pensioner, I have been a client of Wilsons Hairdressers and no matter which stylist I have, I am always pleased with the result. My hair has thinned out quite a lot with age but they still send me out of the salon, looking the best that I can. They are really friendly and yet very professional. As far as value is concerned, they are on a par with most salons in the area. Would I recommend them - of course I would!

Very good blow dry but too much salesmanship. I was also asked if I usually come here! Followed by 'who usually does my hair'. The only other interaction was trying to sell me an in salon hair treatment. Followed by another last minute reference to another clients satisfaction with the said treatment. Sigh. I paid £25 for blow dry, wasnt that enough!!

Absolutely excellent cut and finish, just the result that I wanted. The service was great from start to finish!

I really enjoyed my appointment from having a lovely head massage while my hair was washed to a nice cup of coffee and finally feeling very glam with my new straight hair. A big thank you.

My daughters and I were booked with Heather and Sophie for colours and cuts. All of us are very pleased, including my youngest daughter who has thick curly hair- Sophie layered and tamed it beautifully. First class experience received at Wilsons today! A lovely young man washed and massaged my hair followed by a cut and blowdry from Kayleigh who was brilliant, advising me which products to use on my hair and giving me more confidence with it. As a result I left the salon feeling much better than when I went in and with super hair which looks so much more healthier. Thank you
