TONI&GUY in Chester

The stylist did not listen to what I asked for. I went in asking for an inverted bob, I asked for the front to be below chin level and the back to be tapered nicely in a sleek and classy cut. I came out with the front of my hair just below my ears and the back looked like it had been shaved. NOT what I asked for. When the stylist went to speak to her manager, he didn't even have the decency to come and talk to me. For the price paid a better service was expected, or at least that they listen to what you asked for. I went out of the salon crying, I was so upset. Whatever happened to listening to what the customer wants and asked for. When it went wrong, it felt I was being ignored from then on, like they didn't want to know. awful salon, shame about their customer care.

I look forward to having my hair cut here. Always a smile and a laugh with Katie who is an excellent hairdresser. I always come away feeling good about my cut. I would definitely recommend this branch. Staff are friendly.

Both of my daughters and I came on 3 separate occasions over the past 3 weeks. We all got great service and we were all really pleased with our hair. Great friendly salon! I hate Katie and she was lovely 🙂 both of my girls really liked their hairdressers too!

My first visit to Toni and Guy and I was not disappointed. I felt welcomed and comfortable. The very friendly Katie put me at ease, listened to what I was aiming for and she delivered 100%. I was really pleased with the cut and experience. Thank you so much.

The welcome, customer service and technical competence are consistently excellent. I travel 60 miles for this and results are always worth every mile of travel and the time involved.

Been using Toni & Guy after they corrected issues from Essentials. Haven’t had hair cut in over a year but all the staff were lovely & despite the time lapse still addressed me by name. Mel washed, cut & blow dried my hair just as I like it. She. always checks I’m happy & I was going to book a longer appointment next time as I wanted a change but Mel was happy to advise me today, meaning I can book straight in for a change..Mel also brought Jade over to discuss the hair colouring I wanted. Between them they have written down what I need to book in for at my next appointment to have my hair as I want. I have never had bad service from Mel, Jade, or Chelsea who have been outstanding whenever they have performed any work. All the reception staff are also to be praised, i won’t be leaving it as long between appointments. My husband also uses Toni & Guy & always has Mel cut his hair and he is very particular about his hair.

Great colour from Chelsea and really pleased with the cut from Gary, exactly what I wanted.

Absolutely amazing service tonight as always by all of the girls, especially Katie. I started at Toni & Guy with my hair in pieces, the ends literally snapping off and I didn’t know what to do. A couple of appointments later & it is shiny and amazing! I can’t believe it’s the same head of hair. The advice the girls give is brilliant & I always leave feeling so looked after and happy. Hadn't had my hair professionally done this year due to covid so today's visit was a real treat. The 2 ladies that did my hair were chatty, professional and really good at their job. My hair looked amazing when I left. Thank you ladies!

Absolutely brill time at Toni & Guy Chester on Saturday! Gary cut my hair, and genuinely went above and beyond to make me feel like I was having a real treat! Right from walking into the salon I was made to feel really welcome, like I was visiting old friends! And then the attention and effort and focus Gary put in to cutting my hair, and doing an extra special scalp treatment at the end, it absolutely made my day, I felt so good and I can’t thank Gary, and the rest of the lovely staff on duty enough!

This was my second visit to the Chester salon this year. I have been before but many years ago. I am happy to say that my experience at this salon is as good as it was all those years ago. I felt safe (covid restrictions). I have to say I have had an absolutely fab cut from Elizabeth! She listened to me, discussed the options. She is a delight. Thank you for my stunning haircut. The Chester Salon always delivers a first class experience. All the staff are professional and welcoming and I leave happy and feeling good about each visit.

A warm welcome , excellent service - and haircut ! The covid protocol used was very effective gave the customer much confidence.

First visit since February. Felt welcomed and very safe. Katie great as always and very happy with what she did to sort out my lockdown hair.

Whole experience was lovely, the ladies who did my hair were really nice. After drying my hair I thought it wasn’t quite what I expected - I liked the colour but it’s not what I wanted. I understand that we can build to make it more dramatic but that means spending more and more money when it could have been achieved today.
