I have been a customer here for many years and have always been very pleased with my experience. The best thing is that the finished result matches my description, when asked what I would like. This has not always been the case in other salons.

I have been having my hair cut at Pekai for more than a decade and I always come away feeling happy with the cut and high standard of work by the resident professional staff who also make you feel special all for a very reasonable price. Great cup of coffee too!

The hairdresser was very professional and we were very pleased with haircut.
The reason i gave three stars for atmosphere was because a member of staff, who i believe was management, had an issue with a working colleague and was raising their voice at them in front of customers, i felt the Manager should have dealt with this issue in a professional manner and spoke to their working colleague in private and not in front of customers.

Fantastic experience in the salon today. I felt valued as a customer. Shaun listened carefully to what I wanted and skilfully produced a wonderful haircut.
The girl who washed my hair was very good too. She gave me a relaxing head massage and was unfazed with my long hair.
A truly wonderful experience.

Appointment booked for 4.30pm with email and text confirmation but their systems stated 4.45pm. Waited 30mins. Not the first time appointment is delayed.

I’ve had my hair done by Emma the head colour technician a few times now and always been so happy with the results, she’s always realistic in her advice about what can be done, taking into consideration past colours and condition of the hair, and every time she exceeds expectations and does a beautiful job! She always understands my vision and what I’m asking for :)

I booked in for a consultation and all of the staff were so lovely I felt like I was really listened to when speaking and felt comfortable in the chair. The stylist was very friendly and explained what she was doing regarding the strand test and went through what would be the best option for my hair.

Shaun really listens to what the client is looking for and delivers a great cut every time!

Such a great service. It’s the first time in ages I’ve gone to a salon and had done exactly what I asked for. Luca also did an assessment of my scalp because of itchiness and with her recommendations I feel like I’m finally going to get some relief after contacting the GP the next morning. Luca had such attention to detail and didn’t stop until it was finished. I didn’t feel rushed at all and just had a lovely time.

Every time I come to P Kai I leave really happy 😊 Laura is incredible at what she does and I always feel so welcome by the rest of the team too. What a lovely salon! I'll never go anywhere else 😊 xx
