I recently decided to change hairdressers, not a decision I took lightly, but I chose Pkai after wanting a fresh restyle and a change.

From the moment I arrived, the Pkai team made me feel so welcome. The staff are friendly, professional, and create such a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. I loved the thoughtful touches, like the cafetière coffee served in a beautiful glass cup, Pkai truly delivers the premium salon experience in every detail.

Kai and Shaun took the time to really listen to what I wanted and shared their expertise to ensure my restyle turned out exactly as I’d hoped. I left not only thrilled with my new hair but also feeling genuinely good about myself, and that’s something you can’t put a price on.

I’m already looking forward to my next appointment!

Kai & Emma have the highest standards of understanding personal requirements, always talking through concerns and new ideas. Such a relaxing experience. Great to see the younger hairdressers being professionally trained and in a good supporting environment. Had a cut and finish with Laura yesterday — she was super lovely and friendly, and the cut was incredibly precise and professional. Really happy with the result!

Walked in today on the off chance of a dry cut and met Lauren who was able to accommodate me. She was lovely and turned a grey day into sunshine for me! Perfect cut! Re-booked my next 2 appointments before I left xx

I booked in with Ollie for a full head of highlights and the finish was absolutely stunning. Ollie is an exceptionally talented stylist and achieved the exact colour tone I was hoping for.

I got myself a haircut not as good as I imagined it to be, so I ran straight to P•Kai to get it fixed and fortunately Olly, that attended me on reception, booked me for the next day with him and I felt like new, and relieved. He gave me the best service, talked to me about my hair, about the haircut, and styled it at the end. 🤎

Ollie always remembers how I like my hair cut. Was impressed that he also noticed I had changed the way I wore it. My double crown means my hair kept sticking up and he knew exactly what to do to put that right today.

Another fantastic haircut from Shaun. The whole experience from entering the salon, interacting with staff and having the advice and treatment was wonderful.

I brought my 2 year old in for her first haircut. All the staff treated myself and my daughter with so much respect. Ollie had the patients of a saint with my daughter and didn’t rush the appointment. He gave my daughter time settle before doing the cut and was very calm with her. Thank you.

Came in with bangs and left with a fringe. Asked for her to cut into my bangs so they had layers again. Stopped her as soon as I realised she had taken a chunk of my hair out, but the damage was done. Left without her finishing. She did apologise.

Blow dry by Nadine. Did a great job. Hairwash was one of the best. Blow dry so careful.

I came in today for a colour correction and was looked after by Kai, the salon owner. From the very start, he took the time to really understand the look I was trying to achieve, explained the process clearly, and made sure my hair’s condition was protected rather than rushing into anything too harsh. I felt reassured knowing that he truly cared about both the result and the health of my hair.

Before I go any further, I’d just like to say this to anyone thinking about writing a review: please do go in and talk to the team first. They listen, they care, and they want the best for your hair—it’s not just about the appointment, it’s about their reputation and their brand too. Giving them the chance to understand and correct things makes all the difference.

I also want to say a special thank you to Megan (apologies if I’ve spelled that wrong). She was lovely every time I spoke to her on the phone, showed such empathy, and today kept checking in on me to make sure I was okay. She gave me such a warm welcome.

A big thank you as well to Emma, who I believe is the salon director. When I came in on Sunday, she was incredibly supportive, listened to me carefully, and arranged for this appointment to happen. That extra care meant a lot.

And thank you to Nadine too, who gave me a wonderful conditioning treatment and massage during my wash—it was exactly what I needed. She was so friendly, and we had a lovely chat afterwards. What I really appreciated was how she also included the gentleman sat next to us in the conversation, making him feel seen and included too. It created such a nice, welcoming atmosphere.

All in all, I’ve left the salon today feeling amazing, welcomed, and full of confidence again. I’ll definitely be returning—thank you to the whole team for such a great experience.
