Anita's Beauty Centre-Westcroft

I previously had a disappointing experience when the beautician waxed my upper lip repeatedly until the skin came off. I looked like I had some disease around my mouth for about a week while it was healing. Not OK.

But I am a person of second chances so I came back again and walked away even more upset than before. My appointment started 10 mins late and there was no acknowledgement of that or apology for it. I then said I want my brows as thick as they can be which is what I always say but Anica got carried away and made them as thin as they were back in the 90s, only 1-2 bits of hair left at the ends. I just wanted to cry!!! This is disrespectful and not at all following what I asked for. When I questioned it, she said my brows now look lifted. I didn’t come for a face lift but a brow wax. She got moody after this and not at all friendly. There was no acknowledgement or apology of her removing half of my eye brows. They are not symmetrical and ridiculously thin. I will never be back to this over priced place again and I will sure advise everyone I know against it. Such a shame as it’s really close to where I live.

Shelby is fabulous!! She is so professional & also very friendly & caring.

I was very nervous about the procedure but booked in as my eyebrows were becoming patchy. Christina was super at putting my mind at ease, She was calm and reassuring and explained each step of the process. By the end I was very relaxed

I met Shelby for the first time for a chin wax. She was great ! We had a nice conversation and I’ll be seeing her again on Tuesday.

I just had the most amazing facial. Anica is very flexible – I am a wheelchair user and needed to remain in my wheelchair but she made it a relaxing and wonderful experience for me.

Cristina was brilliant from start to finish. She explained the issue with my brows and suggested the best way forward to rectify the damage. She took her time, didn’t rush like they do in other salons and the outcome was perfect. I’ll be back for sure.

Was not sure about this new colour as I think reds don’t suit me . This was a reddy brown colour and Cristina changed it up with a design on the end of the tips looks a lot better now !!

Lovely service. Leah was very attentive and focused on ensuring I liked what she was doing. I would definitely book her again for my pedicure. My feet were so smooth after she finished. No grittiness at the back of my heels.

I have been going to Anica at Anita's salon in Westcroft for a long time now to get my pedicure done and to be honest I wouldnt have anybody else! Anica takes time and care throughout and I love how she paints my toes! I highly recommend her 👌
