A lovely experience

A relaxing experience...making me feel better.

I came to have the nails on my hands and feet gelled last week.
I only realised when I left that the gel didn't really reach to the base of the nails on my hands after I left
As I feared a week later it can clearly be see where the nails are growing.
It is only a week.
The final disappointment is that today the gel has lifted at the base of one of my nails. I have a photo.
We leave tomorrow for my first cruise ever for my 70th birthday and I wanted to look as good as possible.
I have been coming to this salon for many, many years. Way before it was the House of Beauty.
This is only my second disappointment ever. But at £72 I did expect it to be perfect.
We leave first thing. What do I do with lifted gel? Glue?
I hate giving a poor review but it is a fair one..

I am so pleased with the treatment I received Rachel was friendly & welcoming can’t praise her enough. Procedure was explained as was after care. Have booked further treatment would not consider going else where. Great environment treatment room on ground floor which if like me stairs are an issue. Will certainly recommend yet may keep a secret

First time for eyebrow tint and shaping.Zoe was so nice and I was very pleased with the results!

Booked in for what I thought was a manicure without polish as I just wanted my nails filed and shaped. I've had chemo treatment and my nails can't cope with gel or polish at the moment. They were filed, had a bit of sandy cream rubbed in, washed off, bit of cream, massage and clear nail toughner put on. Was there less than half hour and was charged £32. Still in a state of shock when I thought it was going to be £20. How on earth do people manage full gel treatments etc without breaking the bank. I only wanted a basic nail shaping.....

My experience was good but I had received a reminder that my appointment was at 14.30 but the therapist thought it was 13.30 so I arrived late and there wasn’t time to complete the therapy I had booked.

Zoe always gives an amazing pedi. My feel feel amazing.

Zoe is an excellent nail technician. My nails are always lovely and she is such a pleasant person to chat with. All round, excellent!!

I recently had a couple of treatments by Rachel. The facial was heavenly, the other (skin tag removal) did exactly that and Rachel was very professional. Highly recommend

Delighted therapist, friendly and professional

Booking was easy, Zoe called back straight away. The spray tan set up is professional, no fuss and very quick. The end result was excellent - I left it to develop overnight and showered in the morning. I looked like I’d just come back from holiday! A lovely feeling on a cold wet March day. Excellent price and service. Thank you Zoe. I will be back.
Ps some brown on sheets but it washed out super easy.

Lovely service by a very talented therapist

Jessica was great and I am very happy with the result.

Very poor. ***** was out shopping when I arrived as she had misread the timing of my appointment and had assumed I was not coming. She then said she would not be able to complete the appointment as this would cause a knock-on delay to her subsequent clients. At no time did she acknowledge that this was her mistake and offered no apology or discount. Not a relaxing experience and doesn't encourage future support for a local small business.

I have a regular massage with Rachel and it is a relaxing experience and I feel that my body really benefits

Excellent deep tissue massage by Jessica. She also used hot stones to aid the massage. I’ve had regular massage to unknot my back and feel absolutely wonderful after my treatment.

Zoe is a very talented nail technician. She is also a really pleasant happy person who makes it a pleasure to attend your appointment.

10/10 for Jessica. 0/10 for the bed. I've mentioned this before in person a number of times, but the salon couches are really uncomfortable. Today I have red marks on my forehead and nose from lying face down during a 1/2 hour massage. The hard bed ruins the benefits of the lovely massages and facials at this otherwise excellent salon. I am a salon surfer and this is not my experience elsewhere. Please invest in the best comfy beds - your clients deserve it and your therapists will get more compliments!
