GOLSON - Brooklands Square

Amelia is lovely and I was pleased with her work during the last 4 or 5mths I have been to Golson. Good Luck darling I wish you well in the future.

B has been my stylist for 2 months now and she has pretty much performed miracles to my hair from glamorous curls for my Christmas party to a sexy straight bob for every day.

She is thorough and a perfectionist at her mastery and will always recommend her services like I would with the rest of the staff who are very thoughtful and friendly when I visit.

No doubt, it was an awesome service. Nice hair cut, nice colour… really loved the whole service. But when I booked it online, the price came up £166, I ended up paying £250. I couldn’t understand. Although I booked for medium length hair, but after the hair cut, it was over shoulder length. I really couldn’t understand why they charged me this much.

Eva is a knowledgeable hairdresser. Eva has been doing my hair since Golson Brooklands opened. Before Brooklands Eva was working at the Golson Oxley Park and started dealing with my hair here. Before that Luke used to do my hair so I have been with Golson since they set up business which is about 14 years or thereabouts. Nice friendly people, and always happy to put the customer first.

As always a great hair colour and cut

My second visit to this salon was as perfect as the first, and that’s a rarity in hairdressers! The colour was just as amazing, the cut was spot on, proving the expertise and translation of what I wanted wasn’t a fluke first time round. Lovely people too and great salon all round!

I tell Luke what I (my girlfriend) want and he delivers. Nice touch with the head massage and the hot chocolate as well

Ashleigh is a superstar, professional, talented and 100% recommended her to anyone, she listened to what I wanted and gave me lots of advice, I had a balayage done and the colour was fab can’t wait for my next appointment. I have been with Golson‘s since moving to Brooklands in 2020 and have loved every visit. The staff is very friendly, professional and knowledgeable and I feel my wishes are always 100% listened to and met. I trust Luke fully to make the right decisions for my hair and what suits me best.
The salon ticks all the right boxes and I can only recommend them. Looking forward to my next appointment.

Having had a booking transferred to the Brooklands salon, a bit of miscommunication occurred and it transpired I wasn’t scheduled for the right treatment (it happens!) but the team were fantastic - they really worked together to pull out all the stops and get my hair where I’d wanted it to be. I love my visits to Golson. From the moment you step through the door you are treated so special. The staff here are all lovely & attentive. They offer you a choice of many beverages. Then whilst your hair is being washed you sit with your feet up in a massage chair. And my stylist Eva is the best. I always leave with an amazing style feeling like a million dollars.

I’m new to the salon but very impressed and delighted with Eva’s understanding of my hair type. Her attention to detail is amazing and a welcome change from previous hairdressers. Only negative is the price which will restrict the number of visits.

I always have a lovely time at the Salon and end up looking like a million dollars! I often get complex colours done and Ashleigh is the best at figuring out how to turn my (sometimes half-formed) ideas into reality. Today's colour is a mix of red, yellow and orange and looks fabulous. I always feel very welcomed and looked after from the time I arrive.

From start to finish, Amelia took care and time to show and explain her professional advice. Not just another colour treatment, it was a full consultation with the aim of bringing my hair back to a healthy condition as well as a full head colour treatment for that ‘wow’ factor. Golson accepted my Colourstart Passport too, which means no more tests using blobs of tint.

Eva is amazing, the colour she achieves for my hair is gorgeous. She is always making great suggestions for new ways to get the colours I want to work with my need to maintain a level of professional hair for work but with a crazy twist of colour with a peek a boo look. Thank you Eva ?

I always come out with a smile and absolutely love the colours and styles each time i visit. The staff are friendly helpfully and you feel very relaxed and at ease with the whole experience.

I’ve been living in England for 4 years and found Eva only about a year ago, but since then I’ve been exceptionally happy with my hair. I have a thick, heavy hair and she’s the first hairdresser that truly understands what it takes for it to look good. Her skills are out of this world - my hair is finally growing and healthier that it’s been for a lot of time. I’ve taken my mum and my sister there and they’re both exceptionally happy!
But aside from her impeccable technique, there’s one more thing that makes me go back to Eva. When she does her job, there’s incredible calmness in her demeanour. The motion of her hands moving around you can take you in a state of meditation- she’s this good! Every time I visit her, my day just goes on incredibly smoothly and I remain happy and calm throughout!

I have now visited the salon on a number of occasions: a few times with my 4 year old son and with my teen daughter. Every time we have had a wonderful experience: the salon is very clean and tidy, the staff are very welcoming on the reception and the music is playing just at the right level. We have always used B as our stylist. She is absolutely amazing and I cannot fault her. She listens very carefully when we tell her the style we are after and she has done some really great haircuts for my kids. She is always friendly, smiley, very patient and very kind. Had a great men's cut with Ashleigh. After years of trying to get a decent cut so glad I found her. Followed her when she moved from old salon. Perfect mix of listening to what you want, but adding her own expertise and explaining what she is doing and why. Can't recommend enough. As for the salon, a lovely atmosphere, really inviting and relaxing, and even a beer to sip on a warm Saturday. Perfect!
