From the moment I walked in the welcome was friendly and made me feel at ease. My hairdresser Evie listens to what I would like and when I was unsure she was happy to suggest ideas but not in a pushy way . Evie made me feel valued and at ease during my appointment. Have definitely found myself my new hairdresser and have already booked to come back x

Despite a booking error meaning I was 25 minutes late to an appointment I thought I was early for, Evie put me at ease, gave me exactly the haircut I wanted, and ensured the lost time was reflected on my bill. Very happy, as always - thank you Evie!

I had an appointment with May for a wash, cut and style. I had a great scalp massage after a wash. May cut my hair exactly how I wanted. My hair looks healthy and shiny. She recommended care routine for my hair and did an allergy test prior to colouring. I'm really looking forward to my next appointment :)

I had the pleasure of talking to Lauren for some advice growing my hair out and dealing with some problems around it. She was extremely helpful and kind, pointing out exactly what I could do and also showing me exactly how to do so. In addition, I walked away getting exactly what I wanted - the hair to stay out my eyes.

This was my second cut to get my style and shape back and very pleased indeed . The shine and finish were very pleasing .

It's always a pleasure coming to the Salon. The atmosphere is so relaxing. Rachel is fantastic. I always leave feeling better than I arrived. All staff are friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend Rachel for anyone with short hair.

I am 82 years old and had many hairdressers , at least one who was a celebrity stylist. John is the best by far! He is very quick and accurate an thins and shapes my thick hair so well that it maintains great shape between cuts. He is full of energy and is always in an upbeat mood. I cannot recommend him too highly.

Wow, first of all location is an experience in itself, the Chapel is beautiful. I was really welcomed and made to feel relaxed. The coffee and tiffin were both delicious.

My consultation with May was thorough, I was able to discuss the issues with the dry condition of my hair and the best type of long layered cut for my thick hair.

I was really pleased with the end result. My hair was much softer after the deep conditioning and May gave it a lovely cut with long layers which took the bulk out of the back of my hair and added face framing layers, which I could still tie back for work.

I always love visiting the chapel and today’s cut was good and what I wanted however I left disappointed with my blow dry. I looked like I hadn’t had my hair done which considering the cost isn’t how I’d like to leave feeling.

I had such a lovely experience with May at the salon. She gave me a beautiful blow-dry with lots of volume and movement, and it stayed looking great all day and into the next. She was wonderful and took real care. She also gave me a tour of the salon, which is absolutely beautiful — such a unique space in a converted old chapel. I’d definitely recommend her and will be going back!

Evie styled my hair for my son’s wedding. She did a wonderful job of curling my hair exactly how I wanted it. The curls stayed in all day and everyone said my hair looked lovely. It was a nice touch serving me a glass of Prosecco and orange juice. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and I would definitely recommend The Chapel.
