The Cutting Studio

I have impossible curly hair and I looked up curly hair specialists and up came the Cutting Studio in Hazlemere. I took my life into my hands, crossed my fingers and made an appointment with Maicey. She talked to me about my hair - she cut it exactly as I wanted it - very long layers to give it a less triangular shape and then she taught me how to finger coil my hair. I have to say - I love the cut, I love the coil curls and I am one very happy customer. Thank you The Cutting Studio and than you Maicey.

I cannot begin to describe how wonderful everyone here is, from making the booking and doing a patch test to ensure no adverse reactions to dye to the day of the booking and everyone being so unbelievably welcoming and professional at every step.

Also, I refuse to believe that Mel is anything less than a miracle worker. I have incredibly thick and unruly hair - and she created something manageable, soft and lightweight that I cannot begin to describe how much I love.

I always look forward to my hair being coloured and cut by wonderful Lucy. Everyone so welcoming and kind. Extra special having the massage chair and head massage when having the shampoo and conditioner. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

The salon was very busy today but Kayleigh was attentive and did a really good cut for me. She styles my hair to my liking and it’s lovely to chat to her while she works.

Another excellent cut and blow dry at The Cutting Studio with the lovely Jade. Just a small trim really lifted my hair to help me sparkle into the Christmas season.

Great haircut. I'm very pleased. Fewer stars for atmosphere because of fumes from a treatment given to another customer. Usually very pleasant atmosphere.

I had an appointment with Maicey, my first time visiting the studio. Had an incredible experience and left feeling incredible about my hair. Maicey knew exactly what I was looking for and how to get the results I wanted. She gave me great advice and was so friendly and warm. I will 100% be returning for every hair cut in the future.

I had a curly cut with Maicey and was so impressed with the advice and the cut. She patiently taught me how to finger curl at home and did not smother my hair in gels and mousse as others do so it felt beautifully soft and I have my curls back. Very reasonably priced and friendly, relaxing salon experience. Will definitely be back.

From entering the salon, washing my hair and having my hair cut! Mel, what a lovely lady. I have really struggled to find somewhere to have my hair cut since moving here nearly 3 years ago and having the same hairdresser for over 10 years. I had John last time and because I couldn’t get an appt with John I went to Rush - what a mistake!! Lucy referred me to Mel for a late night appointment which suits perfectly and I am so happy with my hair. Thank you so much!! I will be back ☺️

Maicey my stylist is excellent with colour and my cut which I’m extremely pleased with - I trusted her to make my hair brighter and restyle and in the last 6 months my hair looks healthy and fuller!

Just had my hair done today. She was wonderful and very supportive of my choices whilst not putting too much pressure on me and checking in every so often to make sure I was happy with the length. I felt so relaxed and comfortable with her and came out with a great style! 10/10
