HOB Hair Salon Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire

This is my third appointment with Nick. He advised me on my first appointment how he will tackle the colouring on my hair. He explained the colouring procedure and listened to my request . Gave me good professional advise. I felt he understood what sort of colour I wanted and style of cut would suit me. He is very attentive, professional and friendly. He is very knowledgeable on all the products. I have a good rapport with him and have decided to keep coming back - he is the best hairdresser I have ever known!

Last colour with Maria, which is a shame as she is very, very good. This was followed by cut & blow dry by Amy, who has been cutting my hair now for a number of years and she is also very good. Highly recommend.

The colour is lovely and really happy with the result of the lighter colour sections in my hair without the use of bleach.

I felt in very capable hands with Nick as my stylist. He was very knowledgable and did a fantastic hair cut, definitely one of the best hair cuts I’ve had. He also blow dried my hair so well considering it is wavy/curly hair it’s not as easy to get really smooth and sleek and he achieved such a great finish! I was so impressed overall and will definitely be asking for Nick again!

As ever, Laura went above and beyond to look after me, and my highlights are fabulous as they always are. Laura isn’t just a highly skilled, colourist, she really cares and nothing is too much trouble to get my hair looking the best it possibly can.

Extremely happy with hilites done by Laura - and cut done by Holly.
Both girls were very professional and constantly checked with me about what I wanted and needed. Highly recommended

As always, everyone in the salon is super friendly and welcoming. Maria is great, always friendly and always keen to make sure you’re happy with the work she’s doing.

Absolutely dreadful haircut at hobs Gerrards Cross. Only went for a trim but came out with literally chunks out of my hair, When it was supposed to be softly layered. One side longer than the other and bits sticking out. Was so upset at how it looked and couldn’t even face going back to have it rectified. Unsure why this stylist is cutting hair when clearly she has difficulty. Definitely won’t be going back.

I have really thick hair and often stylists just don’t know how to cut it. But Mei has been brilliant, trying different techniques and always keen to adapt if anything didn’t work out quite as well as hoped. She’s uber competent and professional.

Maria did a great job at picking the right shades for me and not giving up until my greys were totally gone! A really relaxed salon with nice people. Definitely recommend.

Nick was amazing with my hair colour he knew exactly what to do with it and I’m in love with my hair now which looked really bad before.

I took my son to Nick as he has special needs and is particular about his hair.

1. Made Ben feel calm
2. He didnt react when Ben's spasms happened
3. Made him feel like an adult with his opinion on how he would like his
hair to be.
4. Ben felt like a king and is so happy and comfortable he said he doesnt
need me there next time.

From the moment I met Nick I knew I'd found a gem! He is creative with his ideas, is honest with what he thinks will work with my hair and wont do anything that will damage it. This was my first time I had Mei cut and dry my hair. I had a drastic chop and wanted it styled in a specific way. She listened gave her advice and I couldn’t have been happier with the final result!! I have truly struggled with hairdressers over the last few years since leaving London. My search is over, I cannot recommend Mei enough, she is brilliant. Thank you so much!

Friendly stylist(sorry I forgot her name), she checked carefully about how short I wanted my hair cut and understood exactly what I wanted. Very professional and I came away with a lovely new style.
