Josie always checks what I want before she starts and always delivers a fab colour that suits my colouring. Together with a great cut and lots of friendly chat. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

My trip to Fake It was just wonderful. The staff, even if they aren't cutting your hair are warm and friendly. They make you feel welcome as soon as you arrive. Josie cuts and colours my hair and I would give her the highest recommendation. Somehow she just "gets" me, and I think it's because she actually listens to what I say. Listening closely is a rare skill and Josie has this, as well as being an outstanding cutter. I had a truly lovely morning - including being given a bit of time to have a nap while I was waiting for my colour to take. Wowzers. Love Josie. Love her staff. Love Fake it.

I had my cut and blow dry with Marie this morning and she was nothing short of brilliant- so friendly and professional and I valued her expert opinion on what I should do to keep my hair healthy. I enjoyed my appointment today and a previous appointment with Gail ensured my returning business. I am always satisfied with the service I receive at Fake it, and will happily recommend them to friends and family.

Having tried other Salons in Town, this one by far outshines the rest. FACT! From the moment I walked on I was made to feel welcome by the receptionist. She ran through what I wanted, who was available, their position and the cost of my haircut. To me, that's excellent service. The Director cut my hair and gave me exactly what I wanted... when all I said was cut the length and give me some layers. She made me feel complete at ease and left me looking fabulous! Needless to say I won't be going anywhere else from now on!

Every time I walk into the salon I am lifted. Whatever is going on in my world I'm greeted by enthusiastic, talented and interesting people working together as a close team.
The hair and nail expertise is faultless and every visit entertaining!

Good to start the weekend getting a new style for your hair, knowing it is so well cut that I will almost only have to shake my hair for it to fall back into place after washing

I was a little bit dubious at first as the hairdresser that I used to have had left and I had someone that i've never had before. The hairdresser made me feel very at ease and gave great suggestions. After I was "done", I realised that I had absolutely nothing to worry about and am very very happy with my "new hair" !!!!

Booked my first appointment with Josie, I had a consultation two days before my appointment to discuss my hair in detail. Josie was great and you can tell she has passion about her career. I had a complete overhaul of style and colour and I'm really pleased. Will definitely be going back to Josie.
The salon itself is clean and modern. The service from staff was great, I got offered drinks several times and was well looked after.

LOVE all the guys and gals! I have known Josie forever - she did my hair before I got married and we are now approaching 15 years. She is constantly inovating and improving the Fake It service. The introduction of the Joico hair colour range has been amazing. Although Josie normally does my hair, Marie, Adam and Stuart are stars too. I have now got my 2 daughters hooked. The gorgeous Maria looks after my nails with her creative Shellac. I always feel fabulous when I work out of the door and I can't recommend them enough.

Delighted every time with hair by Josie (or Stuart, or Adam or the delightfully effervescent Marie, but I normally try to book Josie, if she's free).

Having moved away into London three years ago, and having no connections to speak of in Chalfont St Peter, you might have expected me to switch allegiance by now - particularly as I now live within 250m of four high street hairdressers.

Nope. I'm so pleased every time to have been listened to and to have come out with a cut and style that I'm pleased with, that I flog back to Chalfont every time. In fact, I'm going for a pre-holiday cut there today, hence coming on here to tell the world how wonderful and reliable they are at Fake It.

Beauty services are also great, and it's hard to beat the lovely Lissie's* manicures and pedicures, and I've seen the wonderful make up she does. She's fab and I'd love to be able to get there more often.
