As a nervous customer, Grace put me at ease.... First time here and in desperate need of a sleeker look to my ramshackle bonce. 18 months since a proper cut, a few home dyes and a bleach, and my hair resembled that belonging to Worzel Gummidge. Some 20 cm shorter, my hair is sleek and swishy. Coming back to keep it in check.

I was really pleased with Sofie, professional, knew what she was doing. On reflection, I should have requested at time of booking, extra time for foils which always seem to take all stylists longer than anticipated which left the cut quite rushed at the end I.e. normally it wet hair but my hair was dried and then trimmed which seemed very rushed leaving my fringe a little long.

Always looked after well, and enjoyable experience.

I’ve been a client of Browns for over 15yrs and whether just s freshen up or a total transformation like today I’ve always had the best experience. Ruby is a magician with colour & today I’ve gone from fading copper straight bob to electric blue & navy balayage waves. Wow!

Had a cut and finish today with Emily. Great experience all round. Delighted with the haircut. Good advice about tinting. Very relaxed atmosphere with a stylist who clearly loves what she does. Highly recommend!

I had a colour strip (I believe it is called) with Anna and she really went the extra mile taking all the time and effort it took to change my colour of hair (other members of staff also helping where necessary). I absolutely love the result. I left the salon with the colour I was hoping for. :) Really pleased!

Have been to Brown's a couple of times. Always treated very well with lovely polite staff and have been happy with my cuts. It's a nice airy salon so always very comfortable.

Toby does the best cut, he understands the individual client’s needs.
Today I had the best hair wash and treatment by a 16 year old. She was confident and made me feel at ease. No drips anywhere and when applying the treatment her head massage skills were second to none.

My daughter had a cut and blow dry and Georgina plaited it too. My daughter loved the shampooing and head massage and wants that again.( we usually do a dry trim) She loved it and wants to go again.

I eventually plucked up the courage after three years of growing my hair to have it cut very short! Bethan was amazing she listened to everything I wanted and advised what would and wouldn't suit my hair. The whole experience in the salon was brilliant. I am so pleased with my new style! Thank you so much.
