HOB Hair Salon Amersham, London

Georgia was great as usual, she was actually trying to rectify a bad cut I had while away on holiday.. she remembers the way I like my hair and what I want without me having to repeat it each visit. Very personable always a pleasure.

The young girl that did the shampoo couldn’t have been less interested though. Zero head massage, I don’t need any interaction so that wasn’t a problem. She didn’t ask if I would like a drink or have any verbal contact while combing my hair after the wash.
She then put the comb down and just walked off, no explanation that she had finished and Georgia would be over shortly. Don’t know if it was a bad day or she was new but I’ve been coming to Hob for years and this was indeed a first.

I had booked an appointment for a cut & colour but on arrival was told that I couldn’t have both as there wasn’t enough time & whoever had booked it shouldn’t have. So I’ve had to make another appointment for a cut.
I had rearranged my work to attend my appointment and was very disappointed that I wasn’t able to have the full service today.
However, the treatment I received was excellent.

Hi, I visited on Saturday 17th and probably had the worst haircut I’ve ever received. I felt like she didn’t capture what I wanted for my hair. She was running late with her previous appointment and therefore I feel she rushed the start of my appointment and what I wanted. I showed her a picture of what I wanted for my hair and said I wanted it to be shorter and similar to the picture. She cut it so short that I can’t even put it up. I also asked for shape around my face, which has been cut awfully! No softness to it, no real shaping around my face, and it feels like a block fringe on either side of my middle parting which is not what I asked for!! The fringe is also uneven on both sides. The worst haircut I’ve ever received.

I would just like to say thank you to Nick for doing my colour it's absolutely brilliant and also to May who cut my hair into a lovely new style, not only was I pleased with it but it's a big hit with my husband and children ? one very happy client today.

Jess was fantastic! She listened to my ideas and created a cut that really suited me while also incorporating all of the ideas i had in mind for my hair. I love my haircut and have been getting lots of compliments. Would definitely recommend Jess as a stylist and Hob Salons.

We cannot praise Nick highly enough for cutting both my daughters hair. Totally attentive and listened to what they wanted.

Really pleased - Tiffany took the time to probe and understand the i changes I wanted to make - the end result exactly as I wanted it? I also like the fact that I can rough dry my hair my way. Good recommendation on product to maintain colour.

I'm not sure of the names of the stylists but both the lady who coloured and the lady who washed-dried my hair did a fantastic job. They did the work with care and attention to detail and didn't rush through. Thank you both

Weekly wash and blow dry while fractured shoulder in a sling. Wonderful friendly staff and feel very pampered.

A little TLC on a Saturday, love the head massages there, a beautiful Blowdry that looks fab and is holding in, even in the rain.

Danni (not “Dani” was looking very well presented. I see she has recently received a promotion. Conversation was limited due to some building work being undertaken on the floor of the salon.

First time seeing nick: been to all london salons but I’ve never had service and result like Nick and his team gave me. We spent 20 minutes chatting about my colour. He promised me to make my colour personal to me and he definitely succeeded. I’ve had so many comments and compliments . Nick you have well and truly given me a new lease of life thank you

First time coming to Hob Salon today and honestly, the best hair cut I’ve ever had. Mei was fantastic, I felt she took time to make sure the cut was perfect, she listened to everything I said and complimented my ideas with her professional advice. I love that she showed me how to style it straight and then wavy too. Absolutely thrilled. I will defo be back.

I placed my trust in Katie and she delivered…really pleased with the way she assessed and then styled my hair so that it looks good with or without product. The only downside to my salon experience was the waiting time…first impressions count and I was left waiting at reception desk for too long, ie I felt awkward.
An exceptional service from Katie is the only reason I am willing to return.

Katie did a great and professional job on my hair and my daughter's hair. Katie was very friendly too.
