TONI&GUY Bristol

I visited the Bristol salon on Friday 26th May. I was able to book via telephone easily at the beginning of the week to see my regular stylist.
My appointment ran to time and both stylists as well as the trainers washing hair, getting drinks etc provided excellent service and I was happy with my hairstyle.
It is a little pricey but feels worth it; this time there were cans of Orangina available and I've often thought in the past that a selection of cold drinks would be a nice touch , perhaps the salon could run a pamper / getting ready session that included alcohol on a late booking?
The only slight negative is that the toilets, whilst clean always smell damp.

Love going there. Haven't been anywhere else in years and don't intent to. Charlotte is fantastic. Highly recommend it. It's my only treat every month. Thank you guys

I am always very happy with my haircut when I go to this salon, and today was no exception.i had a very lovely hairdresser, who was attentive, and gave me a very good haircut. I will definitely go back to her again. Excellent haircut, and lovely staff. Nothing at all negative to say. would definitely recommend.

Had hair cut with ******. Cut is ok but my stylist had a bad attitude and seemed blunt and rude towards me. Not a pleasant experience considering I spent £40 with her.
Great shampoo although I didn't catch the girls name.

The staff are always very professional and understand what style/look your trying to get across to them. Rosie has been lovely every time Iv spoken with her after the loss of my hair following cancer treatment and provided very good advice. From the hair wash to walking out of the salon it's always a very relaxing experience.

Always friendly. Marie listens and is a very good hairdresser. Ross colours my hair just how I want it. Wouldn't go anywhere else. And you are offered coffee etc.

A thoughtful, careful and well executed cut. I am very happy with the cut.

Shampooing and Head massage were good but rinsing was minimal. I should have insisted on more rinsing as shampoo traces left my scalp itchy in places over the next two days.

Best hairdresser ever. Unfortunately someone didn't get me a coffee but Ben the best hairdresser ever rescued the situation!

After having several run of the mill hair cuts that were disappointing to really bad, I decided to bite the bullet and go to a proper hairdresser.
So I picked Toni and Guy as they are well known to be cutting edge and competent.
Not only was I not wrong, I was stoked with the whole experience and wished I'd just been more confident and gone there first. Could have saved my wasted money... and hair!
Their online booking system alowed me to sit at my PC at 6.30am before they even opened that day, book in very easily with a stylist for a cut and finish and save myself from that horrific feeling when you've had a bad cut and need it sorting, STAT.

So hours later I arrived, nervously. The atmosphere was busy, lively and professional and clean. It had a sense of art happening, not a chop shop. Staffed by many, of varying experience but all fantastic at what they do. I was made to feel welcome and put at ease.

My stylist sat me down and we talked about what I wanted and nothing happened until an understanding was reached.
the whole thing was a perfect experience. My style is super and like I say, I'm stoked. Finally.
I knew that the cut I got was taloured to what would suit me as an individual.
These are people that really care and are fantastically skilled.
I will highly recommend this place to anybody. If you're just a plain everyday kinda person, don't be put off as I nearly wasbecause I thought I wasn't cool enough or something!
And to top it off, their prices are completely reasonable, standard and considering the quality of the work: an absolute bargain.

I will return whenever it needs doing again. Hope to always use them. Awesome.

Lucy at Toni&Guy is excellent, my dark brown hair has always turned brassy when other salons have tried to get the blonde I have requested but Lucy gets it just right, very skilled and very friendly, I recommend her to everyone.

Always great service from start to finish. I recommend this place to my friends. Jo cut my hair today because I missed my appointment with my usual stylist Rosie, and I'm really pleased with it.

First time having my hair cut with Marie and I absolutely love it!! I washed it this morning and it was so easy to style, just fell into place.Talented lady

My colourist was Ross , he is amazing , he made my whole experience at the salon terrific, he looked after me so well , but his skills for colouring are superb , my hair has never looked this good , it's perfect. Maria cut my hair into a stylish bob , it is so precise and lays no naturaly and soft , again perfect . Bristol Salon is so professional yet friendly at the same time it's an excellent experience from tithe minute you walk in the door you are taken care of ,I love this salon and I'm so grateful for the excellent trained professional staff , I wouldn't want to go anywhere else

Enjoyed the experience, as ever. As I walked in the door I was greeted by a confiden, smiling receptionist who immediately informed the stylist I was there.
The apprentice who washed my hair was polite and engaging. Joanne, the stylist, was as helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about all aspects of hair care.

I cannot praise James and the crew highly enough at Toni & Guy in the Bristol city centre - they look after you really well, listen to what you want and test you wonderfully - highly recommend to anyone

I had gone to swindon a few times after having a baby unable to get back to bristol for a while. Swindon tony and guy, very dissappointed. Cant believe its not to the same standard as swindon. Gave the hairdresser 3 chances ans she still could not get it right. And on 2 occassions they didnt comb my hair properly after so my hair was in knots for days. Disaster, sort swindon out, please

I came away as usual feeling like a millions dollars, hair cut by Ben and as usual very happy.

Fern is an excellent stylist. Ive had 3 cut/blow drys with her since I started attending Toni and Guy this year. All excellent.

I don't normally leave reviews but given the so very dissapointing service I received when the text came through promoting me for a response I felt obliged to share.

Having recently had my hair cut and dyed, I was using my apt. At Toni and Guy as a treat of a wash and blow dry before a wedding. However what I experienced was very far from a treat. From the beginning until the end of the apt. The whole experience was rushed, half hearted and very poor. From the little things like asking my name through to the hair wash (which is by far the worst I've ever had) though to the style of my hair and the stylists look of not wanting to be there I really was so unimpressed.

Hadn't had colour before with this salon and was lucky enough to see Ross. I am thrilled with the result and quality of the service. Beautiful set of highlights from a professional and attentive guy.

I recently had my hair cut on a Saturday which I know is really busy. I felt a bit rushed as I wasn't sure what to do with my hair or how to have it styled. I had a trim in the end but i didn't really like the blow dry as it didn't suit me. I tried to let the hairdresser know but she was about to go on a break and she was wanting to finish. My hair isn't awful but I really didn't enjoy the experience.

Always first class service by whoever is in reception. Joanne always takes time to explain and suggest different ideas. Her skills are excellent and am always very pleased with cut which helps with styling from appointment to appointment

So pleased with the results a fantastic cut.

Stylist was very thorough and helpful with my uncertainty over what I wanted. Great cut but was kept waiting 10 mind while she finished last client. An acknowledgement would have been a nice touch.

Very pleased with hair cut

As always I had the best ever time, having my hair coloured by Daisy and cut by James. The quality of the service is excellent and the attention to detail and the person 'under the hair' second to none.

Had a lovely experience at the salon with Marie. She was thoroughly professional throughout appointment. Had a head massage and was super happy with haircut results.
Was offered a drink from lots of choices too.

Always great and this visit was no different to what I now expect.

Absolutely great service, nobody's too busy to help. Lovely friendly faces. I've been going there for almost 10 years now and I wouldn't change a thing.

It didn't look at all like the picture I took in. I was looking for a gentle natural wave but instead have really uneven curly hair. From reading up it seems the techniques employed were pretty old fashioned hence why it isn't a natural look. I'm quite disappointed actually and just wish I had my old hair back!

Whilst I have not been happy with every stylist, my usual lass Claire, nearly always delivers. We débate and collaborate on my cut and she is funny and approachable.
