Amazing cut as always from Eva. The salon felt safe and clean and despite the extra precautions the experience was still very pampering.

Extremely professional, super clean, on time and worth every penny. All the usual informal medical checks (temperature via infrared, hand gel etc). All the staff including Sam wore face masks/face shields which did not interrupt the friendly atmosphere created by a welcoming barbershop which has been recently renovated to be what I would consider the safest and most welcoming in Bristol. I left feeling not only well looked after, but with a haircut that was sharper that the stylists scissors! I would rate the overall experience from the initial booking through Booksy to leaving the salon with 5 stars! My only complaint is when searching for a barbers in Portishead I was offered other salons in Bristol first? Come on now Booksy... I appreciate this maybe based on reviews but this shop should be top of the list in "Portishead" on your website.

I’ve been coming to Robert John for years and I love it. Shannon is brilliant, patient, friendly and does my hair really well and professional. It is expensive but so worth it!

Everything thing was as good and successful as usual

I was a bit worried what a visit to the salon would be like post lockdown but they have created a very safe environment. You have your temperature checked on arrival, and are asked to sanitise your hands. The stylists are wearing visors and work stations are separated by screens, which feels a bit odd, but Eva soon made me feel relaxed and I had the same excellent service as always. It's quieter than usual but that's to be expected, otherwise it's working well, and most importantly I walked out with a lovely new haircut and a spring in my step.

My appt for a cut and bliw dry today was just as I thought it would be, very proffesionaly carried out with all restrictions applied, in a friendly and efficient manner, Lucy was as always friendly and polite and gave me the hairstyle i was after, she never disapoints,is a brilliant talented hairdresser

To finally be able to visit the hairdressers was a relief, the whole team at Robert John have worked so hard to not only keep you safe but to provide their service in a relaxed and happy environment. You are put at your ease due to the measures in place and I have to say thank you for the efforts they have made, a great experience in these stressful times.

First time back since lockdown and what a wonderful experience. Salon is highly respectful of social distance and hygiene regulations with face masks supplied - especially important if you’re having a colour done. Jodie is smashing to chat to and an excellent stylist. I left with a smile on my face ?

After nearly 4 months of watching my locks grow shaggier and more unmanageable by the day it was a real treat to go back to my hairdressers. The salon looked amazing: all stylists having their own socially distanced cubicles and wearing quite attractive visors! Obviously great attention had been given to the customer’s safety but with no adverse affect on their enjoyment of the experience. I left feeling quite pampered and looking more like my old self! Thank you to you all.
