I have been having my hair cut/styled by Corinna for many years. Corinna is always welcoming, talented & instinctive when it comes to all things hair, she is friendly & easy to talk to which is very important when you want to discuss styles/cut etc. Hobbs as a hairdressers has always had a welcoming & friendly atmosphere, which is important to all customers I'm sure. In the past I have found going to the hairdressers a little intimidating, but visiting Hobbs is a pleasure, everyone is polite & friendly, it's like catching up with friends.

After decades of poor salon experiences and bizarre haircuts a visit to the hairdresser usually fills me with dread. But not now I’ve found Mel. She knows exactly what to do with my thick and curly hair and she gives you a cut and colour bespoke to your hair type and lifestyle. She also gave my mum a fantastic haircut (even curlier hair) so we’re both converts. The salon also has a lovely warm and vibrant atmosphere.

I have been getting my hair done by G, Mel and Anna for over 2 years and moved home to Ireland. I time my visits to Bristol to coincide with my hair needs to come to the best of them all. They continue to exceed and I always leave with the best hair and a sore belly from laughing and the best catch ups. It’s like home in a salon from experts. Absolutely delighted with my new colour by Georgina and haircut restyle by Corinna. It’s always tricky finding a new hair salon but I’m so glad I chose Hobbs. Anna did a wonderful job on my hair colour! I am going grey and had been dying the roots forever but Anna helped me find a way of embracing the greys while blending in other natural colours too. She’s done such a great job and I’m really happy with it! Genuinely all of the staff there are so talented and lovely.
