Beauty Box Yate

Absolutely love beauty box. All the staff are very welcoming and friendly. The minute you walk through the door there is a great relaxing atmosphere. Can not fault in any way. Highly recommend beauty box- Yate.

I have been seeing Ally for a few years now for my eyebrow taming! I originally had very thin and over plucked brows until I tried a HD Brow appointment. Since then Ally has been my go-to person for my eyebrow waxes and I have to say I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Excellent service yet again!! I would highly recommend this salon.

I’ve been to this salon a few times, had a few bits done with Melissa. She always does such a fab job with my waxing and my nails. She is always so polite and friendly.. The lady that did my eyebrows was really nice however she did get some wax in my hair but she did say sorry the prices have gone up again so I may have to look elsewhere as I think it’s a little expensive also I was keepet waiting a while and I was on time and that’s happened twice

Mum and I had our nails done by Rebecca today. She was really lovely. Very kind, friendly lady and she took the time to chat to my mum when doing her nails which I really appreciated. Mum has just come out of hospital and I booked for her to have her nails done to cheer her up and I was really grateful Rebecca did them because she bothered to be interested and to chat to mum and so few people bother these days to have a conversation. It really cheered mum up and me. Our nails look fab. Thank you to Rebecca.

Fabulous pedicure & polish plus fabulous manicure & polish very pleased

Had a file and polish for a wedding and did a great job with my nails and managed to match my normal varnish with my shellac that I had for my toes. Becky is lovely and professional. Thank you

Always have a laugh whilst in the salon, all whilst doing a phenomenal job on my nails. I love them.

I rang the salon as I was running a few mins late due to being on crutches, saying I may be two mins late. I was told that there was someone straight after me and so I would miss my appointment if I was late. For me what normally is a two minute walk took me 12 mins. I checked in on time for my appointment, and had a 7 minute wait. I have never been late for an appointment here and I think it was unjustified for them to say that I would miss an appointment due to being a bit disabled atm and for them to be running later than I was going to be.

Best waxer in the area! Ally always does a fantastic job, she knows how fussy I am with ensuring no hair is left. For a treatment that isn’t so relaxing she really does put you at ease.

Not my usual therapist but now my favourite! Had a pedicure and beauty eyes today and rebooked for six weeks time. Very relaxing, feel very pampered. Lucy is professional but very friendly too - perfect balance!

Yes men get waxed now - whatever the reason , holiday , hygiene, feel good factor whatever so no need to feel embarrassed,

Friendly lady who’s name I can’t remember done the waxing, again very friendly and professional and end results were excellent,

I’ve been having LVL here for nearly a year. Becky is amazing, so patient and kind and I always gets a fab result. She takes the time to make sure every individual lash is dead straight so you get the best result, other therapists I’ve been to can’t be bothered to do this so you can get odd looking lashes. She’s so experienced she knows exactly what to do and if you get a bit anxious she always knows exactly the right thing to say to relax you.

Nice lady, very chatty and friendly. However, when asked my nail shape I asked for square with rounded edges or ‘squoval’ as they say. It is what I usually have, but I got rounded nails. They have no square/straightness about them.

Secondly, the polish is not done right up to my nails/cuticles like normal. It looks like I have a weeks growth already and I have just had them done, which I am extremely disappointed about considering it’s not cheap at £27 to get gel nails compared to others in the area.

Thirdly, I am going to have to go back as a thumb hasn’t set properly, it’s not shiny and it’s bumpy. I think maybe a top coat wasn’t put on but I am not sure, but it needs fixing.

Overall, the staff were friendly but the result wasn’t great, especially for the price that was paid. I am a regular customer, but this is the first time that I have left feeling extremely disappointed and a tad angry with the result because I was there for so long and didn’t get a good result at the end. I think I had a trainee or someone who was rather new because it took a lot longer than normal to get my nails done and it’s rather obvious with the result from my nails that it was from someone who was inexperienced. The fact that I got the wrong shape, the nail hasn’t set properly and not painted to the edge, I would of expected to pay £10 not £27.

Gemma was fab, my nails look amazing. Had a lovely cup of tea to start while my acrylics where soaking. Then had semilack put on my natural nails. So pleased with them and they feel so strong. Booked in again, digest decision is what colour do I go for next time! ?

I needed some waxing last minute before a holiday and although they were very busy they fitted me in. I thought the reception area and treatment room was nice and the therapist was very friendly and professional. She did a great job!

Had a really nice manicure today - 19th August 2:15.Unfortunately I didn't get her name but the nail technician was lovely!
