I have been coming to Beauty Box Clifton Down for 5 years now, even since I moved away from the area. All the therapists are brilliant but Maggie and Shelley especially are amazing. So professional and they do everything possible to make you feel comfortable.

I have had lots of different treatments- regular waxing, facials, body tan and nails for my wedding. All have been performed to a high standard.

The salon is always scrupulously clean and the atmosphere is calm and relaxing. I get the feeling that all the therapists love working at the salon and are well looked after.

My only gripe is the online booking system (which was recently changed). It doesn’t allow you to easily book more than one appointment and I have accidentally booked appointments with gaps in between. The salon have been amazing at sorting this out for me but I do wish it could be a bit easier.

I would recommend Beauty Box Clifton without any hesitation - they’re fabulous!

5* - excellent service and meticulous with waxing. Maggie is very professional and friendly. Had been looking for a new salon for my treatments, especially one that used hot wax, with being in Bristol more and needing somewhere closer. Not disappointed at all and after two visits now to the Beauty Box in Clifton, this will definitely be my new regular go to. Highly recommend.

Maggie is excellent. Very helpful, thoughtful and an excellent Therapist. Does a wonderful job on my nails and offers sound advice. Always a lovely experience.

My daughter had her first leg wax yesterday and she is not good with pain, the therapist was great, really understanding and according to my daughter “it really didn’t hurt as much as I thought”. Thank you, hopefully it’ll keep her away from shaving in the future.

I always go here for my bikini waxing. Maggie is brilliant!

There was availability for an appointment so I booked it but little did I know there was someone else 15 minutes after me. The next customer arrived 5 minutes early and as she walked in the lady who was actually threading my brows at that moment started apologising to the next customer and saying she won’t be long at all “literally 2 minutes” when she was still shaping my first brow!? I felt like she was rushing so much to finish and that the next customer seemed to be more important than myself. If 15 minutes isn’t long enough for a decent brown tint and shape then don’t allow a customer to book in! Plus I actually arrived early for my appointment with no customer before me so if she knew it was going to be tight then you could at least try and start sooner. I also felt like she was annoyed at me for taking that slot and I was such an inconvenience to her and felt she was rude, abrupt and I unfriendly towards me, which she was not like the first time I’d had a treatment with her, hence why I went back. Really unhappy with the service and made to feel less important than another (clearly more regular) customer!

I have just had a lux pedi & paint in your Clifton salon. It was a really great pedi as well as an enjoyable experience. Just what my feet needed pamper-wise after a long winter hidden in shoes & boots!

I’ve been seeing Amy for ages now for eyelash extensions. All the staff are professional and friendly and I even swap between the 3 Beauty Box salons from time to time and like them all. The Clifton salon are particularly good at running on time and answering the phone!

Very attentive and professional.
