Julian's Hair Salon Newbury

I was so impressed with Julian’s Newbury today. Both my daughters had their first haircuts in over six months, and, despite being a little unsure of safety measures, all ran smoothly. The salon was very vigilant about social distancing, as well as cleaning. All staff wore PPE. It made me and the children feel very assured.

Excellent cut by Julian as well as a good catch up on life.

Karla was fab. She made me feel welcome straight away and talked through everything she was going to be doing to my hair. She was really chatty throughout which was lovely. She did an amazing balayage on my hair which I love and everyone has commented on since I left the salon.

This was my first visit to the salon and I love my haircut - it was exactly as I wanted.

After lockdown I wanted to try a new style, but wasn’t sure what would suit me. I went to the salon with a vague idea and Sam helped me to decide on a style that would suit me, then went ahead and did a fantastic job. I’m so happy with the result and will definitely be sticking with this style. Thank you!!

Thank you Karla for redoing my colour brilliantly. The red is really vibrant and the extra bits you suggested look really effective. As usual it was a great experience. It never feels rushed and I think they are coping well with the extra safety precautions.

... have finally gone thanks to Dan. I was a bit apprehensive about what It would be like with all the additional safety measures in place but I needn’t have worried. As for my hair, well, as always it looks amazing (thank you Dan). If you haven’t already - get booking, it so lifts your spirits!

Well what can I say, I did feel a little bit nervous this morning when I woke up but after arriving to have my hair coloured and cut this afternoon I felt extremely safe and relaxed. All precautions are being taken and I had a couple of relaxing hours with Debbie doing a fantastic job on my hair as she always does. Thank you Debbie and to all staff for making me feel comfortable.

Great service and atmosphere, friendly cheerful service

Dan cuts our whole family’s hair and is able to adapt to all the different hair types and requirements. He always advises honestly and the cut always lasts immaculately

Lisa kindly undid a bad haircut I’d had somewhere else! She also helped me finally get a hairstyle that I really liked - not an easy task with my untameable mane!

Had my hair done. Top money but very dated salon, bad haircut and finish.

I had a salt and pepper colour before I went in. Dan was great in working out the right colour - it took a while to get there but we did in the end - lovely ash blonde with a hint of sunshine!

Knew what I wanted and then gently suggested what would work!

I love going to Julian's, it's a lovely pampering time and the staff are fab xx

Brilliant. Karla was really friendly and did a brilliant cut. I was met with a cup of tea and everyone was very welcoming.

Thick curly frizzy hair below shoilder un desperate need of attention. Im now sporting a deco structed edgy bob below chin. My hair and i are very happy. Sophie read the situation in an instant.

I’ve been going to Julian’s for ages and Dan always the best person to handle my hair. Perfect in everything he does to my hair, I never want to go any where else.
