Sophie is just a lovely woman and she knows exactly how i like my hair cut. I've travelled all over the country with my job and have had a lot of hairdressers, and I can honestly say that when I go home I don't need to redo my hair and that means a great deal to me.

Was a nervous first time appointment at Julian’s but left feeling elated. Debbie was so friendly and helpful and listened and advised superbly. So happy to have finally found a beautiful salon with an amazing haircut! Can’t recommend enough x

Karla was brilliant with our 18 month old, who needed a little trim. He was a bit upset at first, but she handled him with patience and understanding. Our only disappointment was the high price - £17. It was advertised as £14 on the website, which is already ample payment for such a brief haircut. He was only in the seat for about 15 minutes!

Karla was so professional and kind and did a lovely job of my hair colour and blow dry. She made sure I was comfortable when having my hair washed by providing a special cushion for my neck and putting my feet up on a stool. She gave me a great head massage and I felt very relaxed. It was a great experience and I would like Karla to continue doing my hair in the future.

Lisa is a marvel. She cut and highlighted my hair in a lovely natural looking way.

I advised Karla on what i wanted to thicken up my hair and she delivered. I went from long hair to shoulder length and love how healthy it is.

I like complaining about things now that I have retired . . . I have so much time on my hands! But on this occasion there is nothing to complain about, indeed I'm very happy with my hair cut and Sophie even tolerated my 'jokes'. Added to all this, my wife Elaine, thinks the haircut is excellent.

Consistently good cut and colour

I’ve been having my hair cut and coloured by Julian for 30 years now so this review is long overdue!! If you have course, curly hair, as I do, then there is no better cutter of curly hair in town. Its always a treat to go there - magazines and coffee whilst my colour is taking, friendly professional staff and I leave feeling positive and rested. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!
