Extremely disappointing experience at Haringtons Maidenhead.
I felt rushed throughout my appointment and, when I asked if she could put waves in my hair as I had an event the next day, I was told there wasn’t enough time. Instead, I was told to “do it yourself”, which I found incredibly dismissive and unprofessional.
What’s even more disappointing is how my complaint was handled. After years of loyalty to Haringtons, I expected my concerns to be properly acknowledged and taken seriously. Instead, I was simply offered a correction, which completely missed the point of my complaint.
I’ve now lost all confidence in the Haringtons brand and unfortunately won’t be returning. I’m extremely disappointed with the customer service I received from start to finish.
I would strongly advise anyone considering booking to think twice. This was a thoroughly disappointing experience.
My 5 year old daughter had her 1st ever hair cut and was excited but nervous to have it done. The stylist was amazing and so good with my daughter making her feel comfortable all the way through. The hair cut was exactly what we wanted and we couldn't be happier with the whole experience.

I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Harrington in Maidenhead, especially as I have been a loyal customer for years and have never experienced this level of service before.
I had my hair washed, cut and blow dried, by Kasia but the whole appointment felt rushed and impersonal. The conversation was forced and awkward, and I felt as though I was being hurried in and out of the chair rather than receiving the level of care and attention I have come to expect.
The haircut itself was rushed, and I did not get the finish I had asked for. When I asked for curls, I was told that I would have to do them myself because there wasn’t enough time. I found this completely unacceptable, particularly given that I was paying for a professional salon service.
As a long standing and loyal customer, I find the experience extremely disappointing and, unfortunately it has made me question whether I will return to the salon in future.
I have now been told that I have to wait until Tuesday for management to contact me to discuss what will happen next. I hope they take my concerns seriously and provide an appropriate resolution.

I needed to have a cut and style after removing my hair extensions, and never having a short style before, I was apprehensive and nervous. However Gaynor was amazing, listening to my worries and taking on board what I wanted and didn’t want. I will call the salon to discuss but I am left desperately upset by the results today. I have been a loyal customer for the last 30 years and standards seem to have dropped immeasurably. So disappointed.
I don’t mind paying a premium for the best but when the attention and technical expertise isn’t there I’m wondering why I go out of my way.
In the end I was rushed for time and had to leave unhappy. My technician didn’t even wait to see the end result knowing there was a problem.

Absolutely loved my experience at Haringtons Maidenhead—Scarlet was very knowledgeable and took the time to give tailored advice on both style and products for my thinning hair. I have very straight hair that is also slightly thicker on one side, so any imperfections show and Scarlet did a really fabulous cut and blow dry. The salon is also beautiful, the massage chairs are amazing, and the whole experience felt calm and luxurious. I can highly recommend Scarlet and Haringtons Salon and can’t wait to return! ✨
