Having had a recent bad experience at a local salon (which came highly recommended!), I swore I would never let anyone cut my hair again EVER!. Till it began to grow and look a mess. I chose Joseph Bespoke because clients had left such positive reviews.
Joseph you are amazing. You made me feel so welcome and your beautiful salon made me feel comfortable and relaxed. I left the salon feeling fabulous and with a style I can easily manage at home.

I went to Joseph Bespoke after reading reviews, I'd been recovering from a serious illness & I want to have a makeover with my hair to make me feel good again. Joseph bespoke is a salon that welcoming & friendly, & very on trend, two gorgeous little dogs come to say hi too. I went armed with loads of photos of haircuts I liked, Joseph was attentive & was very honest with me & told me what would & wouldn't suit me, I've gone from medium length hair that I felt didn't suit me that much. I now have a pixie cut that I love so much & so do my friends, they say it takes years off me, very flattering for someone approaching 53!! I left feeling a million dollars. Thank you.

I have been to this salon and will never grace it doorsteps again. I found the staff to be very rude, particularly the owner. ...awful and uncomfortable experience.

Have been going to Joseph for quite a few years and I'm always changing styles and colours and no matter how difficult or complex the request is Joseph always makes me feel like a million $. The atmosphere in the salon is always welcoming and everyone makes you feel part of the Joseph Bespoke family. Fabulous, just fabulous x

Today i visited for a second time. Excellent service and hospitality. I had a lady called Chloe loved the chat with her. I have booked my third visit for next year. I would advise anyone to go there.

I visited the salon today after finding the salon through Google
When entering the salon I was greeted warmly, my coat taken and I wasoffered a hot drink and chocolate biscuits.
The atmosphere was extremely friendly,with Joseph's dog lying on the sofa. It was a little like going home.My stylist took time to talk to me about my hair and what I wanted, but advised me as to her views on what she felt would be best. I had her personal attention throughout my visit.I could not fault her professionalism.Joseph was on hand and was extremely friendly and offered his opinions.Whilst the colour on my hair was progressing I decided to have my nails painted and my eyebrows tinted.Again the beauty therapist was friendly and professional.I have visited many city hairdressers in Leeds, Newcastle and Sheffield and can truly state that this was one of the best.
I left feeling as my son would say "trendy". I have booked two further appointments.

I was lucky to find Joseph this week. From the minute I walked through the door I felt completely at ease. After a lengthy consultation Joseph cut and coloured my hair to perfection. I left feeling 10 years younger. I will be returning very soon

Where do I start....everyone needs a visit to this cool salon! You never walk out of this place looking less than 100% glam. Nothing is a hassle to any of the staff, as someone with serious bangs that need a trim every couple of weeks I know I can make an emergency dash to joseph and he will always accommodate me, unlike other salons I've used. You not only get a fantastic cut and colour but I'm always entertained by the salon chat and despite the cool contemporary look of the salon there is not a hint of pretentiousness about it. Each visit you are treated as if it's your first with a full consultation and advice on new colours etc....would recommend a visit to anyone

This place is amazing! Joseph has worked wonders on my frizzy hair and Katy does a great manicure. It doesn't matter whether you go to the salon in Wakefield or ilkley - both are excellent. Fantastic coffee and biscuits too and really good atmosphere. I'm generally a bit reluctant to go to the hairdresser but this is a complete treat. Just go!

This is a fantastic salon! Joseph used to colour my hair back in his T&G days and, after searching, I found him in his lovely salon in Wakefield. I always leave feeling fab. Katie is brilliant too - I thoroughly recommend to everyone.

Well what can I say...Since moving to UK I have been to numerous hairdressers but they always lacked the certain something... Something that when you walk out the door you want the whole world to see how beautiful you look, you feel confident and sexy! Let's face it -most of the time in the past I wanted to put a huge beanie hat and wait for my hair to grow back! Since being recommended to Joseph over a year ago I have not looked back! My hair is amazing now and Joseph knows what looks good and how to handle my over sensitivity about my hair:-)! Salon is fantastic, beautiful interior, good music, excellent coffee and seasonally themed cookies! And of course the loveliest receptionist that is Allegra! And last but not least the master himself! Joseph - great guy; fantastic company, great chats, great advice, great laugh and best haircut money can buy! Can't wait to go again!!! Simply fabulous!!! 2010 was the first time Joseph cut and coloured my hair and I haven't looked back since. He is stuck with me for life now!

My hair was in poor condition when I visited him from going to previous bog standard hair salons, Joseph brought my hair back to life. He revived it with his magic touch and I've been a happy girl ever since! He's honest and to the point and will tell you if what you're suggesting will not suit you! He has different ideas and is always up to date if not in front of the trends. He always does his best to please you and your hair.
I work shifts and Joseph always accommodates me whether it's in the early mornings or late at night! Or even a last minute appointment!

Joseph’s been doing my hair for about 15 yrs and it says something when I've followed him from Toni & Guy in Leeds, to his house in Wakefield and then his plush, state of the art salon in Wakefield. I can't imagine anyone else going near my hair. He's my hair guru! If you want reinvention of style or colour or both – Joseph’s your man. You can simply bounce ideas off him and he expands on it and comes up with a plan, or sometimes I haven't a clue and he provides me with a solution. Even when I'm not certain how it'll look, he never disappoints. His hair colouring skills are 2nd to none. Whether you want a different colour every time like me, or the same colour, I guarantee you'll always feel a million dollars when you leave. He also cuts my husband's hair, my son's and my daughter's. We live about 20 miles away, and we would not go that far if he wasn't the best. Joseph was trained by the best Vidal Sassoon and he is the best. Try him - you'll never look back.

A couple of years ago Joseph rescued my lacklustre locks from the horror of a bog standard salon and I've never looked back. Proof of his talents lie in the fact that he now does the hair of pretty much everyone I know! I'm pretty open minded with my hair and trust him completely to do what he thinks and I always leave feeling very happy. Joseph's salon is cool and sophisticated but has absolutely non of the snobbery of some of the big names in hairdressing. Where else would you get greeted by a waggly pink tailed Lhasa Apso called Allegra? Other perks: a fab selection of glossy mags (especially men's health to perv over), awesome cookies with your coffee, OPI nail polishes to use whilst waiting for you colour to develop, tempting candles and jewellery to buy and the BEST smelling hair products ever. Why would you not go?!

Going to Josephs in my Monday morning treat (or sometimes a wed, fri anytime treat) as I grow older Joseph ensures he makes me feel younger. Never moans at my boring maintenance cut - even gets me to add a curl now and then!!! Joseph's is the place for a little "me time" the soothing environment, service exactly as you want it with a smile and lots of great chit chat - not to mention advice tips on latest gadgets, skin products, places to eat - you name it Joseph knows it!!!
I couldn't recommend Joseph's to you enough - once tried you will never go anywhere else.

This salon, complete with red carpet, choice of drinks, gorgeous biscuits, up to date magazines and friendly first class service is an absolute pleasure to visit. I have always been extremely happy with my hair cuts and colours and would highly recommend. You even get a loyalty card, which gives a cut and hydration treatment free of charge on your 6th visit.

Behind an elegant black door with red carpet on the steps at the end of a terrace, is this boutique salon. The salon shows all the hallmarks of the distinctive design flair, attention to detail and cutting edge fashion of it's creator in its interior design that you will find in the bespoke cuts, colour and hair treatments. However, what it far more surprising and indeed endearing, and that keeps clients come back again and again is the total lack of pretension, snobbery or aloofness that you may expect. Joseph always has a warm welcome, great coffee and a very friendly if crazy dog to make even those of us who arrive exhausted, depressed and embarrassed about the current state of our appearance totally relax and let his genius takeover. You will leave not only looking fab but with that very Yorkshire pride in value for money. So whoever you are, yummy mummy, slummy mummy, school girl, doctor, lawyer or teacher this IS the place for you. VERY strongly recommended.

Joseph truly offers a premium service with high end quality products and refreshments.But all of this is just an added bonus..the best bit is the man himself
'Joseph'..extremely professional and very friendly. His expertise in all things hair is 'awesome', he really knows his stuff and the value for money is phenomenal.. You can expect to pay more than triple what Joseph charges in some 'big name' salons.The only down side is be ready to book in advance because he is a 'wanted man' Joseph gets booked up pretty fast. Having said that if you ever need a last minute appointment he will always try his best to fit you in if he can. I really don't know when he sleeps.His work is his pride and joy!

I went to Joseph Bespoke after a recommendation from a friend. I had the same hair style for nearly 11 years and was scared to try something new. After speaking with Joseph he convinced me to change my style into something completely different and that he said he knew would suit me, i was surprised by how much it suited me and how right he was. The salon is beautiful and has a very cosy yet modern feel Joseph is very talented, friendly and funny..always has a smile on his face and always finds a way to make you laugh. The salon even has its own dog (who has a different colour tail every time i go). I will never go anywhere else for a cut now highly recommended by me! :D

From the arrival at the red carpet.....to the greeting by the gorgeous Lexie (the dog with a different colour tail every time I visit), every minute in this uber stylish salon is a treat. I feel like I'm someone out of a shampoo advert when I leave!!! Note to self, constant hair swishing makes you dizzy!!! This salon experience is the best you'll ever have. You always leave feeling and looking good, and usually alot wiser about life!!! Cos we always put the world to rights!! Nothing is too much effort, if he doesn't have a space he will always make a space even if it's well outside salon hours!!!

Joseph has changed my mad mop into glossy locks for the first time in years, he has take my over dyed hair and finally made it look natural. Joseph Bespoke is not just a hair salon it is the full pamper experience you come out looking amazing and totally relaxed. After trying some of the well known salon names in Leeds and never being happy with the resulting colour and condition of my hair I thankfully found Joseph. He transformed my hair and can't rate him highly enough. Going to the salon is a pleasure. It's a great place, very comfortable and there's always a friendly welcome. The most recent mags, nice refreshments, cute dog, fun company - having my hair done is a treat, not just essential.

This is my 6 weekly treat. A fantastic haircut and super blonde colour are what I come for, but the candles, glass of wine and a good gossip with Joseph make it extra special. Have recommended and will continue to recommend to all my friends.

I will never regret the day I first went to Joseph Bespoke. It was the best hair decision I have ever made. For the first time ever I loved my hair and could actually style it myself at home with the great guidance given. 3 years on and I have never looked back and had my fabulous wedding hair created by Joseph. It looked amazing.

The salon is always spotless and smells gorgeous with lovely candles lit. The range of drinks and biscuits will satisfy anyone.

What can I say, Joseph is not only THE best hairdresser I have come across in many many years, but he takes such pride in his approach to hairdressing. It should be and always is such a welcoming experience when walking into the salon. I feel like family all be it Ive only known him for two years. I dont think Ive ever actually asked him for a particular style or colour. I literally sit down and he just knows what's best. His honest approach is a refreshing change, and in addition, you get spoilt to death with the little things......his biscuits and coffee are to die for!!!

I am not normally a computer person but would like to say that Joseph transforms my hair from a haystack like state to something that looks really cool and the colour marvellous - I am too young for grey hair. Looked after well when I am there l but I know I shouldn't eat the chocolate biscuit which I invariably do. I don't know where else I would go as Joseph has my complete trust.
