Atmosphere stressful often asked to change my hair appointment time by half hour to an hour by receptionist with poor
People skills
Missed an appointment time by 10 mins and was informed in an off hand manner by receptionist l asked if l could still come if l was there within 5 minutes
Arrived to have this offer rescinded and was met by a disgruntled receptionist who refused to meet my eye until l apologised for a third time
Atmosphere further compromised by different hair dressers vying to sell products to same client ( hair growth tablets) and having to be told to desist .

I have been coming to have my hair done by Fiona for a few years.
Always just perfect.
The salon is friendly and a lovely atmosphere.

Fiona & Joseph have looked after my hair for nearly 10 years. I recently moved to the NWof UK and popped down to Saks in Ben Rhydding for a wash & blow dry. I had my first apt with Fiona on 09/02/26 and it wont be my last. Awesome consultation and I felt confident as I headed to the basin Fiona knew exactly what I wanted. She made me feel very at ease and very much "at home" in the salon. Her knowledge and experience shines through; so much so I've made a 2nd apt for next week. Been coming to SACS for years . Consultant in their high quality service . Always very receptive to my needs for a hair style . Always very accommodating at both planned appointments and last minute bookings . Aftercare is first class as a stylist. High quality of hairdressing and at a reasonable cost in comparison to city high street salons . I will again return .

Joe is passionate about hair and without doubt he is the best hairdresser I’ve ever had. He takes pride in what he does. He listens. He advises and he has superb attention to detail. The salon is a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend

Fiona has been my hairdresser now for many years, and somehow she makes me look and feel wonderful, lovely atmosphere, great salon five stars from me.

I have been very happy with how Fiona has cut my hair for several years now. She asks each time how the cut has been and what I would like to be done which I have found many stylists don’t ask. In addition, Fiona is always punctual and herbappointments do not run over.
I used to have my hair coloured at a different salon but decided to let Fiona colour it -again I had a very thorough consultation with her beforehand and am very pleased with the result.

The atmosphere in the salon is always welcoming and friendly. Fiona always had a chat about what I’d like in terms of colour and cut and I’m always really pleased with the results.

I had the annual balayage, toner, root colour, hair treatment and cut last week - perfect for Christmas - and spent a whole morning in the pampering care of Fiona's hands. The time flew as hair treatments were interspersed with engaging conversation, flicking through magazines, hot beverages and communal laughter. I left the hair salon looking and feeling like a million bucks!!

Joseph at Saks Ben Rhydding is a skilled and careful craftsman. I love the way he cuts my hair and gets many compliments on the style. Visiting the salon is always a pleasant experience and I appreciate Joseph's attention to detail and the time put into my haircut.

I arrived in Ilkley after a 7hr drive up from South Devon on Friday afternoon 28.11.25. Rang the Saks salon around the corner from The Wheatley Arms where I usually stay. Thankfully Joseph managed to fit me in for a wash & blow dry on the Saturday morning! I was tired out after my drive & a busy week at work - so very happy at getting washing my hair etc myself out of the way. Will definitely use Saks on each of my forthcoming visits! It's now Monday - back in my office - & hair still looks fabulous!

Joseph at Saks Ilkley is an exceptional hairdresser and a true professional. He’s been cutting my hair since 2009, and every visit is consistently excellent. Not only does he deliver fantastic results, but he also creates a welcoming and friendly atmosphere—we always have a great chat during my appointments. His attention to detail and personal touches, like giving me a Christmas card every year, make the experience feel genuinely special. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair!

Fiona does my hair as well as my two sons. She always does a fabulous job of my hair and listens to what I want, and gives good advice about style, colour and condition. The appointments are always relaxing and enjoyable.
My sons are 2 and 5 and she is always patient throughout. They are always happy to have their haircut as they have always had a great experience!

Fiona is easy to communicate with and always tries to accommodate me with last minute appointments or changes. I would definitely recommend Fiona!
