If you haven’t been to Skin by Katie in Halifax, what are you waiting for? Amelia’s biab gel nails are next level. She always goes the extra mile with combination colour or hand drawn designs. She lets me run wild with my crazy nail inspo ideas. I get lots of compliments on my nails. This has been something I built into my routine to help treat myself and prioritise what makes me feel good.
The place has a lovely atmosphere. Both Amelia and Katie are super friendly. I love going and chatting about anything and everything. Very knowledgeable around the latest skin and wellbeing trends, but also no pressure. They have a great selection of services. Advice has always been tailored to my specific needs. I attended an appointment today for my eyebrows microblading, after an initial consultation a week earlier. Throughout both appointments Katie was really helpful but at the same time taking into consideration my requirements. Throughout the procedure she put me at ease and kept explaining what she was doing and ensuring I was ok. After the procedure she fully explained the after care followed by a detailed email. The salon was clean and welcoming and all the staff were pleasant and friendly, and I would not hesitate using Katie for and furher treatments.

Having come back from a holiday which I knew would not serve my nails well - and having had lots of growth since my last nail appointment it was the right day for me visit. After being ill since mid December I had been looking forward to my Sensory Heaven (my annual treat after Christmas) and today did not disappoint. 90 mins of pure bliss, relaxation, and even hearing my back crack during the treatment. New products in use too. I felt amazing when I left and have promised myself there will be more of these in the next 12 months. Pain free back and shoulders, chilled and glowing skin … what’s not to love ?
