Disappointing results
I had a great first visit to your salon when I came in for a straightening service. I was so pleased with the experience that I took the stylist’s advice and booked a follow-up appointment for a trim as they recommended and decided to take the opportunity do a fringe.
I went in with specific expectations: to get a trim on my curly afro hair and a fringe cut and showed the stylist my previous fringe in a photo. The appointment ended up taking three hours, which felt excessive for the services requested.
I trust the stylist to know what she was doing and know what my appointment was for, however my hair was cut much shorter and my fringe was cut so short that it's unmanageable and I can't style it at all. The stylist also didn't properly style my curls before I left, which meant I wasn't able to see the full effect of the haircut until I got home.
I didn't say anything at the time because I was already late for a staff party and hoped I could fix it myself. I was wrong. I'm now stuck with a haircut I don't like, and I'm unable to wear my hair in my usual style.
I pay £45 for the service and had to put my hair in a bun for the party.
the stylist was lovely, but it’s clear they didn’t have the right expertise for afro curly hair, which led to this poor result. This was meant to be a positive first experience with a professional curly cut, and it's disappointing that it turned out this way.
