We pride ourselves on our loyal team of professionals, who show a keen awareness of the clients’ needs, offering sound knowledge and friendly professionalism. From the time I walked into the salon yesterday, the staff that were at the reception desk were so attentive, I was immediately found an appointment for today. I haven’t had a colour at the salon before, so I was offered a colour test incase I had any allergies there and then, and a small consultation as to what I wanted done ready for my appointment.
When I arrived today, I was met by Jodie my stylist, who took my coat, and then directed me to go up the stairs to the colour department. Once at my chair, Jodie had an idea of what I wanted from the notes from yesterday, Lara then came over and suggested what she thought I should have, which we went with, and I am so happy that I listened to her, the colour has brightened my skin tone, which she said it would. Jodie worked her magic, and was absolutely amazing at working out the exact colour needed. Then a new fresh cut, my hair has been the same style for many years, which I always wore up because of work, but now I’ve retired I fancied a new look, so I’ve had a shoulder length bob, with a fringe. I absolutely adore my hair after today’s appointment and have already made an appointment for February.
I cannot fault anything from today’s appointment, Lara, you and your staff and true magnificent at what you do.

Firstly let me say that the colourist is very very good .
Last week I was booked in with a different stylist . He didn’t consult with me beforehand ..didn’t touch my hair to feel its weight …nothing . So I arrived in his chair with wet hair . Told him that my hair was currently a one length bob , but wanted a bit of a change . The image I showed was of a lightly layered shag and slightly longer than my hair was on entering the salon .
The stylist proceeded to cut my hair into a shorter bob and then put in loads of layers which has taken all the weight out of my hair.
So not only do I not have anything like the image , but now I have a too short bob with no weight that looks awful .
The ratings apply to the stylist and not the colourist .

Amaiya has not coloured my hair before but I had no doubt she would be terrific. She takes time to listen, gently suggests, and also consults a senior colourist to double check her ideas. I was in good hands and I love my new autumn highlights.
