As always, I was received in a friendly, welcoming manner. Advice and suggestions were given, before a shampoo and head massage.. followed by expert cutting and styling. Matthew never fails to provide an excellent result I am frequently asked where I get my hair cut.

As soon as you walk through the salon door, you are made to feel very welcome by Lara and her staff.
Lovely atmosphere, experienced and talented colourists and stylists.
I’ve been to many hairdressers but for me Lara Johnson is the very best.

Everything in this salon exudes excellence, even as you wait (for the shortest time) in reception, everyone leaving has a spring in their step as they are so happy with their hair. Everyone working here is professional and friendly and full of smiles and greetings. Matt 100% gets what my hair needs and I want. I’ve never had such long lasting colour, nor has my hair been in such good condition. His cut is so precise and he drys it exactly as I like. You can’t put a price on happy hair but here it’s such great value for money..

Enjoyed my visit to Lara Johnson Lifestyle today. After Sam gave her expert advice & used her cutting skills & Abi worked her colouring magic, I left feeling relaxed & special.

Where to start….Lara, Chris and Kira came out to Clyne farm to style the brides hair, my daughters, myself and a friends.
From the initial telephone call to the final waft of hair spray they were consummate professionals, organised, on hand to help and advise and great fun, joining in the mayhem of a busy morning and producing jaw dropping hair, which speaking for myself, is still looking damn good!!!
The bride had a hair piece that needed blending into her natural hair and specific needs on where the veil and hair clips were to be placed, the finished product was spectacular and Chris took the time to ensure all her needs were met.
My friend Clare was uncertain of whether to wear her hair up or down and Lara provided the expert guidance after placing her hat on and outlining her options.
I was quite specific in my requirements, going for a ‘Peaky Blinders’ look which Kira styled to perfection ❤️
My daughter being a bridesmaid had her hair styled by Kris and was thrilled with the volume and curls he produced as she has very long and very thick hair, which generally won’t hold a curl for long, but we’re on day 3 and she still has bounce in her hair!!!
This team perform magic and have the right personalities, skill, attention and knowledge to fulfil any bridal party requirement.

Great experience as always; friendly efficient staff, very relaxed atmosphere.

Best colour and cut I’ve had in a while, particularly the cut but if I’m honest a really disappointing wash. I’m only saying it here for the benefit of your knowledge and for future clients. One girl with long brunette hair with a middle parting took me for a wash. She was very rough with the shampooing and even more so with the comb through. I had to hold back a few times from saying something which I think I should have now looking back. I then had numerous times where the water was put straight on my head and was very cold. I don’t know if it is guaranteed but I always have a short massage with the conditioning but this didn’t happen at all. I wasn’t asked once about the temperature or if I was comfy and the pulling out of the foils (I know it’s a painful experience at the best of times) but it was super painful and unpleasant.

After the wash, I was taken to a seat for the cut. The same girl took my towel off my shoulders and put it on the side stand and started combing my hair. My hair had not been towel dried and so was dripping all down me and into my clothes. I asked for a towel and she pointed to it and told me, “it’s bethere”. So I reached to get it and started drying myself. She then leant over took it off me and dried the rest of my hair properly. At this point my hair dresser came (brunette lady) who was wonderful, she noticed how wet my back was and immediately got me a new cape. I was super grateful for this as it meant not sitting in the wet one.

Can’t fault anything else, staff were fab and left super happy but wanted to raise the standard of the wash and customer service of that one worker with you.

Whilst your having your hair cut. You have to look down. I noticed Dans sock choice is not up to standard. Or maybe it’s the way his legs hang out of them. Either way I think he should have a set of cheerleader Pom poms to match or cover them up. I wish to remain anonymous as I feel this positive review may get me to much favouritism.

I've been going to Kris for about a year and a half now! I have always had very long hair and been somewhat nervous when it comes to scissors going anywhere near it! So much so that I kept to the same hair dresser in my hometown of Manchester, despite moving to Swansea! When lockdown hit and travelling was next to impossible, I found myself in desperate need of a hair cut but no where to go! Enter Kris!

Ever since the first time I sat in his chair, he made me feel so calm and relaxed, and the quality of his cut is amazing...and then there is his blow dry!! I feel like new woman every time I leave! From my first visit of having just a 'healthy trim' to now having the confidence to step out and give him the latest brief of Matilda Djerf/70's Shag cut & Bangs....He absolutely nailed it! I have full confidence in Kris's ability and styling, and hugely value his opinion whenever I'm thinking of trying something new! He is just simply amazing!

Chloe is the best there is. She’s kind, understanding and will perform miracles on your hair. I love going to the salon and having some me time and knowing my hair is in the best hands just makes the experience even better. I always leave feeling my best! Forever grateful for the service. Thankyou so much!!

I love my visits to LJ. I usually give Kris a rough idea of what I want and he works his magic to bring it to life. I’ve never been disappointed.
The junior team are also worthy of note. All bring an enthusiastic and bubbly vibe to the saloon.
I feel like I’m visiting extended family rather than just consuming a service as a paying customer.
